Joel Stephen Jackson

I caught a speeding ticket on the interstate in Wythe County while traveling from Pennsylvania to South Carolina. Realizing the value of my "safe driver" auto insurance rate, I retained Joel Jackson to see if he could somehow get the charge reduced to a "non-moving" violation of some sort. He made no... promises, but when the trial date arrived, he was successful. I still had to pay a hefty fine to the county court for my "transgressions", but was able to keep a clean driving record. For me, it well worth Mr Jackson's reasonable fee, A shout out to his sidekick, Emily, for keeping me well informed throughout the process.

Our son was driving home from college due to an evacuation during hurricane Irma in September, 2017, when he was stopped in Virginia for speeding. Since it was over 80 mph, it was a reckless driving charge, and I called Joel Jackson to discuss our options. Joel Jackson got the charge reduced to an "operating faulty equipment" charge, so there were no criminal charges, no moving violation charges, no points on his license, just a fine for less than $300 to pay. He informed us of the outcome immediately after court. We really appreciated Joel Jackson's honesty and professionalism, and would not hesitate to hire him again if needed. We highly recommend him!

Reckless driving. The hard part here for me was it was my daughter. And, she didn't tell me about the ticket (21mph over the limit) for two weeks after getting it. We were under somewhat of a time constraint. When I first contacted Mr. Jackson's office, he called me back and was very personable a...nd business-minded. He told me his goal would be to get my case reduced. I know these things are never guaranteed and he told me that this isn’t a sure thing but that was his goal. I’m so happy that Mr.Jackson did get my daughter's case reduced from reckless driving to defective equipment. He and his office staff (Emily) were always helpful and responsive to all my questions. Joel got me off rape charges and had my case dismissed without taking any plea agreement or without any repercussions. If you are a VT student he knows the student conduct system very well. If you are his client, he will fight HARD for you. Joel turned a good rape case against me into an easy acq...uittal.

I live in New Jersey and got a reckless driving ticket in Virginia for doing 83 on a 70mph open road.
