After hiring him for a sum of 700$ for his legal representation I was displeased to find out on my court date that he was not aware of any of the things I had personally discussed with him and his assistant. In the end I received the same penalty as all the other people charged with the same crime BU...T WITHOUT representation. Moreover he refused to answer my emails and provided no explanation or apology for the bad job he did. I had to call his office multiple times and send many emails only to receive a short email answer which provided no answers. AVOID this lawyer.

I used the website to reach out for a consultation...it was after 6pm when I entered my information. Within 1 hour an associate of Mr. Jackson office contacted me (Sean)...this was around 7pm but I was unable to speak at the time so we agreed to speak the next day. The world needs more professionals that don't just do a job but truly cares about the people he is helping. Sean is a tremendous asset to Mr. Jackson's team and when the time comes that I do need an attorney for this case you can bet that the Office of Joel Jackson will get my business. Unfortunately I was speeding on my way home from Alabama while attending the Barber Motorsports Vintage Motorcycle weekend. Due to hurricane Nate, the event closed early for safety reasons. We were riding our motorcycles home and trying to stay ahead of the storm, which was moving very fast for a hur...ricane. My hope was to at least make it to Harrisonburg, VA where my daughter attends James Madison University. That didn't happen as I was stopped while going 83mph in the right lane on interstate 81 in southern VA (70mph zone). That's reckless driving in VA! Amazingly the trucks were doing 75mph and if you ever rode a motorcycle at night, it is not fun being passed by an 18 Wheeler. More so is the danger that the truck driver may not see you. Therefore I tried to stay a little ahead of the trucks since I can control what is in front of me but not what's behind me. I looked up attorneys online and chose Joel Jackson. Best choice I ever made. He advised me to take a driver safety course and also obtain my 10 year driving history, which was fortunately favorable. I did that and also provided additional history of myself to Joel including what I mentioned above. He was able to explain my situation in court and achieved a very successful outcome for me. I highly recommend him. Note that after I contacted his office and agreed to be represented by his firm (in his absence) he contacted me personally to discuss the case. They are a very professional group and quickly responded to any questions or concerns that I had. I highly recommend Joel and his team!
