After hiring him for a sum of 700$ for his legal representation I was displeased to find out on my court date that he was not aware of any of the things I had personally discussed with him and his assistant. In the end I received the same penalty as all the other people charged with the same crime BU...T WITHOUT representation. Moreover he refused to answer my emails and provided no explanation or apology for the bad job he did. I had to call his office multiple times and send many emails only to receive a short email answer which provided no answers. AVOID this lawyer.

I used the website to reach out for a consultation...it was after 6pm when I entered my information. Within 1 hour an associate of Mr. Jackson office contacted me (Sean)...this was around 7pm but I was unable to speak at the time so we agreed to speak the next day. However around 8pm I sent a text ...to the number and asked if he was still available and I got a yes Immediately. I Called back the gentlemen's name was Sean....after listening to the details of my case...he immediately googled my case in court records and was able to give me valuable information to assist me. From about 8pm to 10pm we discussed my case....at the end it was determined that I did not need representation at this time. Not only was Sean a professional but was understanding was available after hours. On top of every thing there was no fee for the advice and lengthy call. The world needs more professionals that don't just do a job but truly cares about the people he is helping. Sean is a tremendous asset to Mr. Jackson's team and when the time comes that I do need an attorney for this case you can bet that the Office of Joel Jackson will get my business. Had a situation arise where another lawyer in the Blacksburg, VA area did NOT handle my case as I had originally hired them to do. My license got suspended and had ZERO communication with this other lawyer. At my rope's end, I reached out to Mr. Jackson's office and within 48 hours the case was han...dled and closed. Hope I never have to hire another lawyer in Blacksburg, VA again ... but if I do ... I have Mr. Jackson's office saved in my contacts ... as should you!

I live in Maryland but drive route I-81 frequently on business. I received a ticket for speeding on I-81 in Virginia which required an in-person court appearance. I contacted Mr. Jackson's office by leaving a message online, and received a telephone response from one of his assistants within 15 minut...es. Everyone on Mr. Jackson's staff was exceedingly helpful in advising me of my rights and responsibilities, and walking me through the process over the ten weeks that followed. They answered every question promptly and thoroughly. The outcome was a dismissal of the charge based on my past clean record, on the condition that I attend a one-day driver improvement course.
