I used the website to reach out for a consultation...it was after 6pm when I entered my information. Within 1 hour an associate of Mr. Jackson office contacted me (Sean)...this was around 7pm but I was unable to speak at the time so we agreed to speak the next day. However around 8pm I sent a text ...to the number and asked if he was still available and I got a yes Immediately. I Called back the gentlemen's name was Sean....after listening to the details of my case...he immediately googled my case in court records and was able to give me valuable information to assist me. From about 8pm to 10pm we discussed my case....at the end it was determined that I did not need representation at this time. Not only was Sean a professional but was understanding was available after hours. On top of every thing there was no fee for the advice and lengthy call. The world needs more professionals that don't just do a job but truly cares about the people he is helping. Sean is a tremendous asset to Mr. Jackson's team and when the time comes that I do need an attorney for this case you can bet that the Office of Joel Jackson will get my business. Joel Jackson and his office helped me from the beginning to end. I was so worried and nervous after receiving the ticket since I never have had this issue before. His entire office was professional, compassionate and kind with all of my emails, questions and communications. Joel Jackson exceeded my expectations and my case had the best outcome because he believed in my case and me. I am very thankful.

Unfortunately I was speeding on my way home from Alabama while attending the Barber Motorsports Vintage Motorcycle weekend. Due to hurricane Nate, the event closed early for safety reasons. We were riding our motorcycles home and trying to stay ahead of the storm, which was moving very fast for a hur...ricane. My hope was to at least make it to Harrisonburg, VA where my daughter attends James Madison University. That didn't happen as I was stopped while going 83mph in the right lane on interstate 81 in southern VA (70mph zone). That's reckless driving in VA! Amazingly the trucks were doing 75mph and if you ever rode a motorcycle at night, it is not fun being passed by an 18 Wheeler. More so is the danger that the truck driver may not see you. Therefore I tried to stay a little ahead of the trucks since I can control what is in front of me but not what's behind me. I looked up attorneys online and chose Joel Jackson. Best choice I ever made. He advised me to take a driver safety course and also obtain my 10 year driving history, which was fortunately favorable. I did that and also provided additional history of myself to Joel including what I mentioned above. He was able to explain my situation in court and achieved a very successful outcome for me. I highly recommend him. Note that after I contacted his office and agreed to be represented by his firm (in his absence) he contacted me personally to discuss the case. They are a very professional group and quickly responded to any questions or concerns that I had. I highly recommend Joel and his team!

Our son was driving home from college due to an evacuation during hurricane Irma in September, 2017, when he was stopped in Virginia for speeding. Since it was over 80 mph, it was a reckless driving charge, and I called Joel Jackson to discuss our options. He returned my call within half an hour, ...was extremely professional, and he clearly explained the possible outcomes if we did not hire him, and what he thought he could do for our son if we did hire him. We did not want to take a chance on the reckless driving charge sticking, and the resulting increased insurance rates, and possibility of our son losing his license, so we hired Attorney Jackson. He went to court for us (our son's college was 4 hours away, so it was much easier for him not to have to show up in court), and the outcome was better than we had hoped for. Joel Jackson got the charge reduced to an "operating faulty equipment" charge, so there were no criminal charges, no moving violation charges, no points on his license, just a fine for less than $300 to pay. He informed us of the outcome immediately after court. We really appreciated Joel Jackson's honesty and professionalism, and would not hesitate to hire him again if needed. We highly recommend him!

Reckless driving. The hard part here for me was it was my daughter. And, she didn't tell me about the ticket (21mph over the limit) for two weeks after getting it. We were under somewhat of a time constraint. When I first contacted Mr. Jackson's office, he called me back and was very personable a...nd business-minded. He told me his goal would be to get my case reduced. I know these things are never guaranteed and he told me that this isn’t a sure thing but that was his goal. I’m so happy that Mr.Jackson did get my daughter's case reduced from reckless driving to defective equipment. He and his office staff (Emily) were always helpful and responsive to all my questions. I very much appreciate your help and I highly recommend Joel Jackson.
