Joel Stephen Jackson

Unfortunately I was speeding on my way home from Alabama while attending the Barber Motorsports Vintage Motorcycle weekend. Due to hurricane Nate, the event closed early for safety reasons. We were riding our motorcycles home and trying to stay ahead of the storm, which was moving very fast for a hur...ricane. My hope was to at least make it to Harrisonburg, VA where my daughter attends James Madison University. That didn't happen as I was stopped while going 83mph in the right lane on interstate 81 in southern VA (70mph zone). That's reckless driving in VA! Amazingly the trucks were doing 75mph and if you ever rode a motorcycle at night, it is not fun being passed by an 18 Wheeler. More so is the danger that the truck driver may not see you. Therefore I tried to stay a little ahead of the trucks since I can control what is in front of me but not what's behind me. I looked up attorneys online and chose Joel Jackson. Best choice I ever made. He advised me to take a driver safety course and also obtain my 10 year driving history, which was fortunately favorable. I did that and also provided additional history of myself to Joel including what I mentioned above. He was able to explain my situation in court and achieved a very successful outcome for me. I highly recommend him. Note that after I contacted his office and agreed to be represented by his firm (in his absence) he contacted me personally to discuss the case. They are a very professional group and quickly responded to any questions or concerns that I had. I highly recommend Joel and his team!

Reckless driving. The hard part here for me was it was my daughter. And, she didn't tell me about the ticket (21mph over the limit) for two weeks after getting it. We were under somewhat of a time constraint. When I first contacted Mr. Jackson's office, he called me back and was very personable a...nd business-minded. He told me his goal would be to get my case reduced. I know these things are never guaranteed and he told me that this isn’t a sure thing but that was his goal. I’m so happy that Mr.Jackson did get my daughter's case reduced from reckless driving to defective equipment. He and his office staff (Emily) were always helpful and responsive to all my questions. I very much appreciate your help and I highly recommend Joel Jackson.

I was travelling through Virginia on my way to a family vacation. I was pulled over on Interstate 81 for speeding and given a ticket. I contacted Mr. Jackson to represent me as I live in North Carolina. He was very prompt in returning my call. He was very nice and polite and told me step by step ...what my costs would be and what documentation I need to obtain and provide to him to resolve this ticket. He did a spectacular job for me!! I was traveling north on I77 in Virginia and was behind a slower vehicle in the right lane got over in the left lane to pass and before I could get pass the vehicle and get back in the right lane to a normal speed I was clocked at 80 in a 65. Got home and checked for lawyer's on the net in Virginia, ...Joel Jackson name came up. I read the reviews and was impressed. Called Mr Jackson office and left a message for him to call me back and he did so within an hour, we discussed my case and I agreed to his fee ( a reasonable one at that) . The only thing I had to do was get him my drivers record for the passed 5 years, he went to court on my behalf and the case was settled with just a Defective Equipment.
