She is committed to providing her clients with compassionate and zealous legal representation, and has a passion for helping clients navigate issues related to divorce, property division, support, custody and visitation matters, and post-divorce modification issues.
As a parent herself, helping clients create smooth transitions and make empowered decisions for their families, is a role that she takes very seriously. She always seeks to find a resolution that has the least financial and emotional impact on her clients, and aims to give them a realistic and fair assessment of each case and the options available to move the case forward towards settlement.
Alisa has been a practicing attorney since 2007. She started her legal career as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Marcus D. Williams (Ret.) of the Fairfax County Circuit Court, 19th Judicial Circuit of Virginia. She went on to become a government enforcement attorney for the United States Department of Transportation, and then an associate at Norton Rose Fulbright, LLP, one of the top five largest national law firms and top 20 highest grossing global law firms. Alisa left Norton Rose Fullbright to exclusively practice domestic relations law at another law firm in Fairfax, Virginia before joining NOVA Legal Professionals in 2020.
