I can't recommend Bill Blackford highly enough. When my son became involved in a serious court case, Bill, who knew my son from hockey, stepped in and helped our family tremendously, asking nothing in return. Not being a specialist in criminal law, he gave us valuable advice on finding the right def...ense lawyer. And he went the extra mile (literally) in providing us with needed legal materials. I'm confident of his ability in his areas of the law, but more importantly I'm confident in him as a human being.

I had the unfortunate experience of losing 2 close family members days apart in 2 different states. The stress of dealing with the loss and handling both estates was a lot. William Blackford was the second attorney that I hired to review my marital situation and represent me. Mr. Blackford proved to be an honest man of his word in bringing this agreement to closure i...n a reasonable amount of time. During negotiations, Mr. Blackford knew the facts, addressed concerns, and basically created a relaxed, comfortable setting to promote trust. I honestly do not believe that anyone could have done a better job at presenting my case in an articulate, methodical manor the way that he did. Upon taking on my divorce case, Bill Blackford made me many promises of its outcome: none turned out to be true. Bill talked a big game to seduce me as a client, but backed up nothing in court. My very simple divorce (no children and no assets) ended up costing me nearly $500K and taking over 3 lon...g years , largely because of Bill's unaggressive stance in court, and his inability/unwillingness to legally pursue my ex-wife in all of the ways she intentionally disobeyed the court's orders. And...Bill, costing me $250 per hour lost my case to a Pro-Bono lawyer, which is pathetic. As a lawyer, Bill is passive and unaggressive - two traits you definitely do not want in the attorney representing you. Stay away.
