Thomas Maronick Jr., Esq. is founder and senior partner at Maronick Law LLC
The firm handles criminal defense, including DUIs, bankruptcies, family law, collection, wills, and business law, and litigation, as well as personal injury and accident cases.
Mr. Maronick is the former deputy clerk to a Circuit Court chief judge.
He is licensed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland as well as the State of Maryland, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States.
He has served as legal analyst for local radio and TV stations during the trials of public interest. Appearances locally include WBAL, FOX, WMDT, and WMAR, serving as a regular panelist on "The Marc Steiner Show," on WEAA, being quoted by The Baltimore Sun and Daily Times. Internationally and nationally, Mr. Maronick has served as a regular legal analyst to Canadian cable news, CCTV News, including on their prime-time broadcasts.
Offices are in Baltimore City, Ocean City and Annapolis. Satellite offices are in Bel Air and Silver Spring. But the firm takes cases all over the State.
Mr. Maronick is also a well-regarded jazz singer and songwriter and host of a weekend radio program on legal and current events issues on WCBM.

Replied last January 10, 2024What an embarrassing and unhelpful review from some anonymous person who clearly just has a vendetta out to write bad reviews. I just hope this individual gets the help they need. One can consider this individual’s outrageous claims or the over 1000 5 star reviews on multiple platforms that we have received. This individual claims that somehow we have power over Avvo to somehow erase bad reviews. Probably all attorneys wish they had this power. It’s pretty easy to anonymously troll good lawyers on the computer. It’s much harder to defend people in court when their lives depend on it. The numerous awards and recognition we have received tell you everything, versus this anonymous troll’s comments.

Been lying for months
I retained then January of 2023. I have been lied to for eight months. I have a 23 year old misdermeanor probation violation. They say they are working on it and will keep me informed. And while none of this is true except the nature of the case and age of the alleged violation, we are actually confident of a great result in this case. The reviewer has said once we do this review will come down. We have not lied ever to our client, but the process has taken some time to resolve and the frustration relates to the length of process due to the age of the violation.
