My OPT extension was denied because of filling/documentation error. I was left with two options either file i-290B (motion to reopen/ reconsider) or go to the CPT school. My case: I submitted my OPT STEM extension application before my DSO update my I-20. My DSO was on vacation and was clear misunde...rstanding.
