I have known Dawn over a period of 7 years, and she is an incredible individual. Words cannot even begin to express our gratitude for her work. Not only has she been there for me professionally, she has also become a part of our family. Her diligence and prompt attention to all my matters really gave... me peace of mind during the entire process. You may not trust any other attorney, but you can trust Dawn. I was in removal since 2013 after I applied for asylum with USCIS. Since my court was in NY, I hired an NY attorney to handle my asylum case. I was very unhappy with the law firm because I felt that they charged a lot, took my money, di...dn’t explain anything, didn’t update me about what was going on with my case, and attorneys kept changing. In one court appearance, my attorney was unprepared and even the judge yelled at her. I met with Dawn and immediately retained her. I was so desperate to get my green card since I was married and had a child on the way. I immediately retained her and the same day she contacted my old attorney and had the file emailed. She reviewed it thoroughly and then met with me. Dawn patiently explained my asylum case so I knew what had been done and what needed to be done. She told me the best strategy on how to get my green card. She advised that since I was eligible to get my green card through marriage, we should do our best to win that case. Then she helped me prepare, step by step to gather all of the documents needed for my case. She came to the interview and before we even started, she handed all of the evidence to the officer who greatly appreciated this and said “yes, the other attorney didn’t give anything except an expired lease.” After the interview, the officer told us that the old attorney did not submit a sealed medical exam and so she could not approve the case. Right after leaving the interview, Dawn made sure that the officer knew that USCIS could approve the case (even though I was in the immigration court system). That same day Dawn found us a civil surgeon and even went with us to the civil surgeon and waited while the exam was done. Unfortunately, the exam took a few days so we could not get the sealed envelope. When we finally got the exam about 2 weeks later, Dawn submitted it to USCIS. After a few months, there was still no decision on our case. Dawn followed up constantly with Infopass and by sending internal emails to the officer. I was really nervous since my EAD expired and I was about to lose my job. Then a few days ago Dawn texted me to let me know that my green card case was approved. I couldn’t believe it, I was so relieved. She even texted me to let me know the green card had been mailed. I got my green card yesterday. Go with Dawn, you will not be disappointed. She is worth every penny and you will not find an attorney like her.

Dawn is an attorney unlike any other that I have met. She truly goes above and beyond. We hired Dawn to represent me and my husband at our green card interview. Our other attorney only filed the application and did not want to attend the interview since he would have to travel to Maryland. When w...e hired Dawn our green card interview was only a few days away. Despite this, Dawn worked with us tirelessly to prepare us and so much had to be done by her that was not done by the last attorney. We had no idea what to expect at our USCIS interview since my husband was in removal. She explained that since we got married after my husband was put in removal we would have to go through a Stokes interview. Over the next few days before our interview, she met with my husband and I every day after work. After our first meeting, we retained her and she gave us a detailed list of all of the documents we had to obtain. She wanted to make sure we gathered all of the necessary documentation. At the meeting after, she reviewed the new documentation that we gathered and told us if it was ok or if we needed to gather more. Dawn explained what to expect at the Stokes interview and gave us several pages of sample questions to go over and even went over the questions and answers with us to see how we answered the questions. If our answers weren’t good enough, she then coached us on how to answer them properly. It was not until Dawn explained the seriousness of our case and everything that we needed to get done before the interview that we truly appreciated all that she was doing. We definitely would have lost our case if it was not for Dawn’s quick-thinking and thorough approach. Dawn is not just an attorney who does her job. You can really tell that she cares about her clients and does whatever she can for them. She is passionate, honest, trustworthy, responsive, unyielding, professional and extremely knowledgeable. It's not easy to find a good and honest lawyer, but Dawn is definitely someone we could trust to make sure my husband got his green card and we will be forever grateful for everything she did for our family.
