Patrick Woolley is an exceptional lawyer who truly cares about his clients. You won't be disappointed retaining him.

I retained Patrick Woolley to represent my case for being cited for reckless driving 100 mph in a 55 zone. Let me state for the record that I do recognize the irresponsible nature of my violation. Now allow me to explain my case and why I hired Patrick. On 9/8/2022, I was traveling to work in my 20...21 Hyundai Elantra on route 28 northbound in the left lane toward the Waxpool Road exit, as I have for 8 years. The weather conditions were clear, and rather unusually, so were the traffic conditions, to the extent there was literally no vehicles on the road next to, in front, or relatively close behind. After passing the Sterling boulevard exit and taking observation there were no vehicles on the road at all, I made the unintelligent decision to depress my accelerator pedal for a few seconds. I was in 6th gear, didn’t downshift, and just held the pedal down for a few moments. As the Waxpool Road exit became visible in my approaching view, I noticed the vehicle in the rear of the pack of vehicles about to take the exit applied his brakes rather hard. I didn’t want to approach the cars too quickly or unsafely, so I gradually applied my brakes slowing down accordingly. At this point the vehicle was too far ahead to identify what type of vehicle it was. Once I slowed down to the speed limit, the vehicle pulled off to the shoulder. When I got close enough, I was able to identify the vehicle was a state trooper. As I approached the trooper, he initiated his emergency lights to pull me over shortly after I passed him. I pulled over, turned off my ignition, and waited for the trooper to approach my window. He asked for my license, which I wanted his permission before reaching for it. He said it was ok, so I retrieved my license from the center console and handed it to him (Officer Middleton). He then asked me if there was any reason I was traveling 100 mph (I had no idea I was going 100mph). I told him I was going to be perfectly honest and there was no reason for it. I explained to him, though be it no excuse, due to the fact there was absolutely no one on the road at that point in time, I took advantage of it and accelerated the car for a few moments. He went back to his car, wrote the ticket, and asked me again when he got back to my window. I told him the same reason as before. No excuse, just took advantage of the road being clear. As illogical as it sounds, I only did it because I presented no danger or safety risk to anyone on the road but myself. I understand that sounds like I am not worried about myself, or who I would leave survived behind, but I genuinely do. I care about myself, wife, kids, and family. I felt there was minimal risk involved considering I was on a straight open road. I came across Patrick on lawfirm.net and was impressed by his reviews. After further research, I came to the conclusion Patrick genuinely cares about appropriate legal representation of clients in need of defense against the highly biased state government. I was very impressed with his decision to forgo an opportunity to work for the FBI, and instead, apply his skills to represent citizens in need. This stood out to me. The day of my case 3/21/2023, Patrick explained to me the agreement reached with the prosecutor was a $150 fine, no suspension or restriction of my license, and no community service, though the class 1 misdemeanor stuck, which I wasn't concerned with. I was thrilled. I was facing up to a $2,500 fine and 10 days in jail. He actually apologized and said that was the best he could do. I laughed and told him I was most concerned with serving jail time. I was concerned with retaining my employment and the impression on my kids of having to go to jail. I didn't expect the fine reduction, suspension of jail time, or keeping my license or no community service. He far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend retaining Patrick. You won't find a better attorney. I guarantee you.

Great to work with, very pleased

I live over 500 miles away and got a speeding ticket driving through Virginia. I was looking at the possibility of a large fine and time off work to go back to VA for court. Patrick and the team handled everything, save me a ton of time and money, and got the charges lowered to the minimum. Literally... saved me thousands. Highly recommend!

Assault on Family Member Misdemeanor

He appeared for me in the Loudoun County J&DR Court. After some discussion about my case and the surrounding circumstances, he was able to successfully argue against prosecuting my case, and he was able to convince the prosecutor to drop the charges so that my case was DISMISSED. There was no crimin...al conviction, no jail time, probation, or any other requirement associated with my case. I did not need to pay any court costs, and I'm eligible to have the charges expunged.

CHOOSE PATRICK!

I was charged with a DWI with an elevated BAC. I was scared and didn't know what to expect. I searched online and found Patrick. I initially spoke to a representative who gave me a quote for what these types of cases go for. She also scheduled me for a free consultation with Patrick. Patrick called m...e back within the hour and we discussed what had happened. He told me what my options were and what he would do if I chose him to take my case. He was very kind and non judgmental. He spoke to me in a very respectful manner. Getting a DUI is embarrassing enough, without having your lawyer judge you as well. Patrick was realistic and told me honestly what to expect and what the outcomes could be. Sarah, his legal assistant and him were both available to me at anytime if i had a question or needed guidance. They were both exceptional and got me a favorable outcome on my case. I would recommend Patrick to everyone!

Excellent job, highly recommend

We hired Mr. Woolley to assist with an appeal after being wrongfully convicted. His offices were prompt to respond to our inquiries, acted quickly to resolve our immediate issues. During our office consultations with him, he was clear and direct with the information he needed, as well as with communi...cating his plan for our defense, what the possible outcomes were, and what he needed from us along the way. His knowledge of the legal process and the law, and how to apply it our case - with confidence - was a great asset in this process, especially during our moments of doubt and concern. At each step, he communicated what to expect next, how he would be proceeding, and what we needed to do to prepare. In the end, he achieved the outcome he projected, positively in our favor, and has followed through since to assist us in rectifying the impact this situation caused. His prices were very fair, and the office worked with us to make the costs manageable. Would highly recommend Patrick for defense, and especially for appeals!
