RUN! (Read all): 10/2016: called this place after searching for weeks for my Federal Employment Harassment case against my employer. I read Ari's bio and it looked impressive stating something along the lines of the psychological effects on an employee of such issues. I called & gave a detailed summa...ry of my situation. I was then set up for an appointment and was told to bring cash only at this time. I did. It was $300 for what was supposed to be ONE full hour. I arrived and I had to tell him again the whole situation in detail but it wasn't just him- he had three people in his office listening to me. I was emotional and cried about my situation- it was embarrassing that I was speaking to THREE people total. (Not the biggest deal here), Anyway, I gave all the necessary details to my case to Ari W. He pointed out that they don't often handle EEOC complaints- and pointed to his associate to "look over" my material because "she does more of that." I was baffled because I had explained over the phone that this was an EEOC issue. So already I felt like I was being ripped off of my money because he said he was experienced in the very specific attorney that I needed; however, he was not. After I had explained everything that I needed to explain that was in detail, I repeatedly have to ask him what his professional opinion was on my case and if there was anything strong that I had going on my side. He refused to answer, saying I needed to reschedule another appointment and bring in an actual timeline. After I had already spent approximately under 35 minutes giving him the exact timeline verbally. Was he not able to listen to me and give me his opinion then? Do people everywhere not have to listen to lecturers speak and then give answers when the teacher asks for an answer? He was not listening or he wanted to get more money off of me. He refused to give me what I told him I wanted the initial appointment to be about. When I called him I told him I needed his opinion on if I have a case. Then after the appointment, he left me with "well, type up a timeline, and let's reschedule" for an additional fee. I told him I was not happy about that. I told him that I explained I needed an answer and that this was what the appointment was about if he could remember from the phone call. He then proceeded to offer the next appointment review of the timeline "free." I never went back. Because like the other reviewer here, it was literally about how much I wanted to spend. And with this first appointment I felt like he was milking it. It was like $300 in cash just so that he could meet me, and then he intended to help me reschedule so that he could then make a decision however there's no guarantee he would have made a decision because he already showed himself to be dishonest with the first appointment. I firmly believe this is why they ask for cash. Because you can't dispute the charge on your credit card. Please run away if you're looking for an EEOC attorney. And take strong consideration on seeking other services. I would rate this is zero and report them to my credit card company to try to get a refund if I could (but, it's cash only!) (that's how they got me). I feel that using the Better Business Bureau to report this law firm might be an avenue I will consider.
