Legacy is excellent & Attorney Mary Whitney Thuell is professional

Legacy is an excellent firm in which attorney Mary Whitney Thuell is professional, prompt, thorough, and exceptionally warm in nature to collaborate with. She was hired to analyze a PPA (or Power Purchase Agreement) between SolarCity and myself a homeowner, to determine if this contract was a benefic...ial win-win for both parties. Since this multi-page document is a 20-year, long-term agreement, it was imperative it be reviewed by a skilled attorney working on behalf of my best interests. Ms Thuell was prompt in responding to my initial inquiry. She invested the necessary preparation time to understand my needs during our pro bono consultation via phone, email, and text. MyCase.com, an online legal case management software is used so client and attorney can share documents quickly and synergy can be achieved. The SolarCity PPA contract was promptly reviewed, and complete with her highlighted comments. Ms Thuell then goes the extra distance. She provides a 'contract summary' of which the entire contract is summarized into a one-page plain English report. This document is complete with explanations, key parts, and follow up questions unanswered by SolarCity. Legacy Firm rates are very fair, and only charged by the number of pages in the contract being analyzed. In the end, Ms Thuell agreed the contract by SolarCity is good, and hence a good company to partner up with. Their PPA enables a lease of photovoltaic solar cells (solar panels) to be installed on residential homes and commercial buildings. My electric costs can be locked in to save thousands of dollars long-term. The SolarCity plan begins its rate at slightly higher than the local electric utility (for me it is BGE). However, remarkable is the rate is steady throughout the 20 years, never to increase in cost; known as a 0% escalator; contradictory to rising electric utility costs. Given my average electric consumption today, and carried out into a 20-year schedule into the year 2037, I created a cost comparison... If I were to remain with the electric utility, (and based on their annual reports forecasting a rate increase of 7.4% per year), my electric costs would total $34,276. If I am to switch over to the SolarCity PPA, my electric costs would total $17,877. So in conclusion, thank you Ms Mary Whitney Thuell for charging me a few hundred dollars and saving me potentially thousands of dollars! The cost difference being $16,399! Thank You for a job well done! Sincerely, M. Rinker

Clear and Quick

Mary did an excellent job reviewing my business documents, letting me know where I needed to file things to bring myself up to date, and then doing the legwork for me. She made the whole process easy and stress free.

Mary Thuell Esq. Delivers

When the health insurance provider denied payment for tens of thousands of dollars for drugs and medical care for the deceased, our estate attorney recommended Ms. Thuell. We met for an hour and she listened. She made sense of the stack of documents we provided and went to work contacting the medica...l providers and the insurance plan. She made a superb written case for review. Within weeks, she secured a reversal and the insurer paid. It was all done professionally without fanfare and drama. In addition her fee was modest.
