Best representation imaginable-Highly recommended for Child Custody

Laura represented me for over 6 years of a nightmare custody battle that would not have been tolerable without her professionalism and support. She was referred to me by a coworker whose fiance worked at the court house. Her fiance said that she is the number one attorney for custody cases and that... everyone in the court house knows how great she is. This statement could not be more accurate. Her expertise, knowledge and overall passion for her clients, the child involved and the outcomes is admirable. From my very first interaction with Laura she was transparent and beyond empathetic to my situation. She cares deeply about her clients and I never doubted that she had my best interest throughout the entire court battle. Laura had amazing follow up and communication. She was quick to respond to my emails, phone calls or text messages. She kept me and my husband informed every step of the way. We knew when motions were filed and documents were submitted. We were always aware of the costs associated and the billing of her time and custody activities was always clear and specific to whatever charges were assessed. Laura was accessible to both myself and my husband for advice on issues that would constantly come up from emails or texts from my sons father. She would provide counsel and communicate with the attorney of my ex to ensure that court orders were being followed. Laura not only gave advice on every situation that we encountered but helped us to navigate through the legalities and ensured that we were always doing the best thing for my son. In the court room Laura is passionate and diligent. She is prepared for anything and carries herself gracefully but with drive and commitment to ensure that her clients case is delivered with the facts and supported with the proper documentation. She does not allow her clients to take the stand without feeling confident in her abilities to represent them. Laura speaks eloquently and is well educated in custody laws and guidelines. Laura is committed to providing the best outcomes and works so hard to make sure that the facts and truth are always clear when she presents your case. Laura does not allow a challenging situation or her personal opinions to get in the way of her court room execution. She knows how to present every aspect of the case and highlights the most important issues. She does not get thrown off by opposing counsel and can speak confidently to the best interest of a child as that is what was most important to me throughout the entire battle. It is because of Laura and her drive and commitment to me and my family that we won our fight and my son is now where he belongs. I cannot imagine working with any other attorney. We will forever recommend and endorse Laura for her services, professionalism and personal drive to help others.

I can't imagine having any other lawyer

Laura is the best, beyond helpful, and sincere. I would have certainly been lost without her. My custody case was very stressful and painful to say the least. She advised me properly and pretty much held my hand through the whole process. To say that I'm grateful is an understatement. Thanks again La...ura, sincerely!

Understanding, Intelligent and a Pitbull in court

Laura was recommended to me by a close friend when I was going through a divorce. My first meet with Laura I immediately felt comfortable and relaxed as she was very attentive to my story and all the details pertaining to my divorce. Throughout the entire process of the Divorce, Laura was always ...available to answer my questions and handled the entire process flawlessly. When we attended court throughout the process, Laura was not at all intimidated by anyone. She was clear, concise and made her points strong and delivered countless blows to the opposing parties by stating facts and details. At no point during the process did Laura lower herself to the opposing parties side. She stayed above par throughout the entire process and plays clean and fair, but certainly very stern in her beliefs and actions. When it was all over and finished, even though divorces tend to typically be stressful and prolonged, I had zero stress. Laura is not only an excellent attorney, she takes the time to listen and understand the whole situation and all the facts. I would highly recommend Laura to anyone that needs an attorney for Divorce.

Terrible Lawyer

If you don't have the time or money to waste than I highly recommend not picking Laura Brooks as your legal counsel. She was recommended as being the best. Maybe she was years ago but not now. She don't like to meet in person or talk on the phone. She don't keep you updated on your case unless you ...reach out to her. She file motions late which gives the judge reason to deny them. She's too impersonal instead of being professional when needing to be. She with drew from my case a day before trial due to her "not liking to be questioned about not informing me in a timely manner." She's being paid to work for me and my children best interest. This left me with a lot of adding on stress, time and money wasted, disappointment and confusion. She showed up to trial to only make sure the judge granted her motion to withdrawal. She left my file, which I notice some of my exhibits that was suppose to be presented during trial was missing. Also she charge me for coming to court the day of trial and a couple of other things that she shouldn't gotten paid for. She's a joke! Laura was my first family court lawyer and she was the worst pick ever!! I know what to look for in my next legal counsel and it won't be someone like Laura Brooks.

I am very sorry you felt that way about my representation. I continually provided you with honest and professional representation. Unfortunately, it was clear we did not have the relationship needed between a client and attorney and needed to part ways so that you could find the attorney who could meet your demands. I freely gave you your entire file and all exhibits so that your next attorney would not need to waste time catching up. Again, I am sorry you felt the way you did but I wish you and the kids the best in the future.

My

I hired Laura Brooks to handle my divorce in 2012. Laura was extremely knowledgeable of the law, the process and court system, she provided sound advice and counsel, she was prompt in responding to my inquiries and concerns, and she prepared and processed the paperwork in a timely manner. I have re...commended Laura to several friends and colleagues and have no doubt she is providing the same level of professional service to them.
