I worked with her years ago during a long drawn out custody battle that involved abuse and an absent parent. Terrible attorney no morals or ethics I should have definitely reported her to the disciplinary council. She tried to drop me as her client a few days before we went to court for a custody hearing but the judge did not allow her to do so due to such short notice. Due to this my daughter ended up with... her mother and mother’s boyfriend who was touching her inappropriately in which SVU had to get involved. Laura was also aware that this guy was on the most wanted list from law enforcement and it was not in my daughters best interest to be in the home with her mother. After wanting to no longer represent me Laura then had the nerve to try and send me a bill for payment after doing myself and my child a disservice. She is not the type of attorney you want to hire especially when your child’s livelihood is at risk. Laura has definitely did me and my family a disservice

You may want to pay attention to the most recent reviews because I had a similar experience with her for a custody case. Best advice I could give her…please get a paralegal! It was tough having to chase her down to get answers to my emails and, all the while, she never explained the process or her st...rategy. She seems very capable but overextended trying to do it all by herself. All I cared about was my case and that didn’t get much priority, so there were dropped balls throughout or things I had to be on top of with her. Because I had to learn by experience (rather than by being educated), there are some things I will handle very differently now that I know better.
