Top Tier Trial Attorney

Alfonso is a brilliant and aggressive trial attorney. His resume is flawless and what he lacks in DA experience he more than makes up for us an Army Prosecutor. Alfonso is a highly skilled criminal defense counselor and if he is within your budget you should be thankful for that and hire him. He is w...orth every penny. I was in a self defense shooting with a car that was driving into me. My gun was legal and registered to me and I had a permit to carry firearms. The Commonwealth construed a series of lies to make me seem like a crazed animal despite having no previous criminal record. There was an alleged baby in the car I had shot at so the District Attorney's Office of Philadelphia was hell-bent on pursuing this matter and wanted a conviction with hard time attached to it...very hard time! I even spent an unnerving 30 days in prison before posting bail on half million dollars and hiring Alfonso! I was looking at 3 counts of attempted murder and aggravated assault. Also, one count of possession of an instrument of crime. The plea bargain was 6-12 years and losing a trial would have a resulted in a minimum sentence of 10 plus years! There would also be a complete cease to the upper-middle class lifestyle I worked so hard to achieve for the rest of my natural life, short of being a successful business owner. Needless to say the stakes were very high. I even had other high tier attorneys tell me I needed to avoid a trial at all cost. One of these attorneys that told me this was a close family friend! Alfonso composed a brilliant trial argument for my self-defense based on the discovery evidence the Common Wealth presented. It was obvious he spent many sleepless nights preparing for this trial. Not once was he caught off guard or looked unprepared for the DA. He never once had his associates handle his affairs which I was appreciative of and what made me fear hiring other lawyers of his caliber. Alfonso is always highly charismatic and well spoken, with an unparalleled vernacular and dictation. His opening and closing arguments are heartfelt and awe-inspiring. Alfonso has a gift for presenting an argument to a jury. He doesn't give the jury a speech, he speaks to the jury, and that's a big difference between a skilled and mediocre counselor. He does not give them over complicated mumbo-jumbo...he speaks to them in a way you can feel and understand. One of his best traits is his ability to cross examine. Alfonso is extremely aggressive and a fierce cross examiner. I didn't text him too many times through out the process but whenever I did he always got back to me the same day. He even came to my residence to go over testimony with me and review the scene! Alfonso is highly ethical. All he ask is that you do not lie to him and tell him the truth. He will find a way to make things work in your favor. Throughout the process you can see a fire ignite in Alfonso and he gets into a mindset where he eats, sleeps, and breathes your case. Throughout our court time I felt like he was an agitated uncle, hell bent on ending this madness. He felt like family not hired counsel. After a 3 day jury trial and and half a day of deliberation I was found not guilty of all charges against me! Alfonso won me my life back and saved me from over a decade of incarceration against a Common Wealth that lies to get convictions. You need the best against the city of Philadelphia and Alfonso is the best. He is even in the process of helping me retrieve my wrongfully ceased firearms and expunging this arrest and trial from my record. When you go agaisnt the District Attorneys Office of Philadelphia...one of the 6 or 7 biggest cities in this country, they have the country's most brilliant prosecutors. You need the best, and Alfonso is the best. His trial experience in violent crimes and criminal accusations is unrivaled. I would recommend Alfonso to friends and family. All my friends who saw him in action switched the card they carry in their wallet!

If you are ever in trouble, there is only one lawyer to call and that is, Mr. Alfonso Gambone.

The moment we met with and hired Mr. Gambone, he took charge of a very difficult situation. Mr. Gambone told us exactly what he was going to do and how he was going to address all of the legal issues. He is a man of his word. He took our phone calls day and night, he never left our side. In my op...inion, there is no better criminal attorney. He does not just take the case, he lives and breathes it. Thank you Mr. Gambone for all that you have done, we could not have made it thru this situation without you.

Above and beyond the call of duty!

I have used Mr. Gambones' services twice now and both occurrences were more than satisfactory. I presented Mr. Gambone with more than difficult cases/situations and both outcomes were better than I could ask for. Mr. Gambone was very professional, informative, and hardworking in matters that invol...ved me and explained everything to me without the legal "mumbo jumbo" so I could understand and participate in the events I was going through. We dealt with some serious matters and received very little to zero punishment for the matters at hand, because it was important to him to get across my character, past achievements, and good upbringing, so the judge or jury doesn't just see a criminal, but a person who made a mistake. He addressed the court with confidence and a positive attitude at every appearance. His services were very personable. His office was very nice and employees very polite. His services were very affordable and I felt strongly that my money stretched beyond the courtroom. He spent hours reviewing my cases and making phone calls to ensure that in court we would have no surprises and so we were properly equipped to make any decisions reguarding my cases. Mr. Gambone followed through with everything he told me sometimes more, and never lied to me or got my hopes up with false information to make himself look good. I would recommend Mr. Gambones services to anyone in need of legal aid or council and make the promise to which he/she would not be disappointed with the Gambone services.

Supremely Satisfied

My case was very stressful to me for many reasons. From the first day to the last day Mr. Gambone was in tune with my needs, both legally and emotionally. With his knowledge and experience he made me feel at ease while providing me with excellent service. He was personable one on one as well as in... the court room. Most notably Mr. Gambone had a presence in the court room that demanded respect and consideration of his points. There was an instance where he objected to certain testimony being given before it had been decided to be allowed, but the judge overruled his objection. This was a most obvious mistake by the judge as we were in the process of making a motion to suppress the evidence in question. Therefore that evidence and testimony should not be given until after the decision has been made whether or not to suppress said evidence. It seemed that the judge was too distracted by his computer screen to fully grasp the objection at that moment. Mr. Gambone respectfully sat down, but when the prosecuting lawyer tried to continue with the questioning along the lines of the evidence, Mr. Gambone objected again insisting that it was extremely inappropriate to proceed in this manner at that specific time during the motion to suppress. The judge finally agreed and sustained his objection. This interaction between the two lawyers and the judge set the stage for the rest of the proceeding, forcing the judge to take Mr. Gambone seriously for the remainder of the case. The motion to suppress started with testimony by the arresting officer. During the interrogation the prosecuting lawyer was trying to make the officer seem trustworthy, but the officer repeatedly knew exact details about certain things and absolutely no details about other things. This made him seem somewhat untrustworthy like he was trying to manipulate the testimony to sound the best it could. When he was cross-interrogated by Mr. Gambone, he drove the point home, mainly by continually pointing out that his accusations of my nervousness at the traffic stop were obviously exaggerated. Mainly he pointed out that anyone would be nervous when pulled out of the car. At one point the police officer refused to answer Mr. Gambone's questions and instead just kept repeating that "He was extremely nervous" over and over again. After ample discussion about the details of my nervousness the judge finally said "Ok we all get it that he was nervous, please proceed." This showed that he really drove the point home that the police officer's accusations were prolifically exaggerated. The rest of the motion to suppress was a heated debate mainly involving the case Gary VS Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. At this point the judge became very involved picking apart the arguments of both lawyers. This is where Alphonso Gambone really started to shine. It became obvious that he was highly informed about the details of the Gary case which many Prosecutors have been using as past precedence to allow a probable cause search when smelling marijuana in a car. The truth of that case is that someone in the car said "Yeah there's a little herb in the car." as well as there being the odor of Marijuana. This made the probable cause search ok because they knew for sure that there were drugs in the car and couldn't in good consciousness let the evidence drive away. In my case, I never said anything about there being anything in the car, and never gave them permission to search my car. In the end, Mr. Gambone commanded the attention and respect of everyone in the room through his body language, manner of speaking, and straight forward approach.

Although the facts were stacked against his client, Mr. Gambone put on a compelling defense.
