Biography
I have been practicing family law at Hofheimer Family Law since 2011. I'm also a lifetime Hampton Roads resident.
In the time since I started, I've represented a number of women in their divorce and custody cases, but my primary focus has been on creating our do-it-yourself divorce site, Design Your Divorce, which is designed to help women learn how to draft a separation agreement as good as what an attorney would draft, and ultimately file for an uncontested divorce in their local circuit court. It's an incredible resource for women who, for whatever reason, choose not to hire an attorney. I'm our "e-lawyer," meaning that I also provide troubleshooting support and guidance for the subscribers on the site. For more information about Design Your Divorce, click here.
I live in Norfolk with my husband, Jonathan, who is a charter boat fisherman and professional tug boater, and our two (practically) perfect Labrador retrievers, Sally and Cash. I spend a lot of time reading, running in and training for local races, kettlebell-ing, and responsibly enjoying Virginia wines. I also enjoy cake.
