Jeremy A. Wechsler is a licensed attorney in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and focuses his practice on estate planning, elder law and probate for a variety of families. Jeremy is adamant that every family should plan, no matter how little or much they have, remarking that “proper estate planning shows compassion for your family, allowing for continuity during difficult times and diffusing any possible conflict or uncertainty.” Jeremy is plugged into the estate and elder law world, staying up to date in both areas of law. Jeremy regularly speaks on estate planning matters in front of community groups, as well as seminars and workshops provided for the benefit of prospective and current clients.
Jeremy had a practice in Willow Grove for over 12 years before proudly joining Curtin & Heefner LLP, a top law firm in Bucks County.
Beyond estate planning, Jeremy’s life has been devoted to helping others. After graduating from The George Washington University School of Business, Jeremy joined Teach For America, a national program that places recent college graduates in underserved public schools throughout the United States for two years. He spent three years teaching middle school in West Philadelphia.
During law school, Jeremy expanded his focus on helping others by working for the New York City Department of Homeless Services, New York Lawyers for the Public Interest, and The Legal Aid Society. Jeremy also participated in his law school’s Urban Law Clinic, where he successfully helped several clients in special education and employment discrimination matters.
Through these experiences, Jeremy has learned of the importance of helping others and giving back to your community. Estate and elder law planning is a natural extension of his commitment to helping people. Jeremy knows that having a trusted plan that properly cares for family and friends can provide peace of mind for clients and their family members. It is simply the best gift you can give to yourself and your family. As such, Jeremy takes the time to work with each client to understand his or her individual and family needs, and tailors each estate plan accordingly.
In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys traveling, volunteering and spending time with his family and Pablo, his lovable dog. Jeremy currently helps children through the Support Center for Child Advocates, and other pro bono work through Philly VIP.
