Marc J. Weinstein began his career at the Office of the State Attorney in Miami-Dade County, Florida, where he served as an Assistant State Attorney until leaving the office to enter private practice in 2002. Marc has tried 45 cases before juries and more than 100 non-jury cases in a wide variety of civil and criminal cases in numerous state and federal courts over the past seventeen years. Marc's law practice now consists of counseling and representing organizations and individuals in white collar investigations and intellectual property matters. A significant part of Marc's practice includes representing sponsors and publishers of secure examinations and assessments, to assist them in implementing legal protections to minimize threats to the validity of their tests, strengthen the integrity of their programs and enforce all intellectual property rights that may apply to their examinations. Examples of secure tests include, but are not limited to: board certification examinations, government mandated professional licensing examinations, employment tests, K-12 state educational assessments and examinations used in admissions determinations for college and graduate educational programs.
