Upon graduating law school in 2006, Mr. Gross was appointed as an Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County, New York. During his tenure as a prosecutor, Mr. Gross handled thousands of criminal cases at all levels, many of which were high profile matters followed by various media outlets. Mr. Gross successfully litigated numerous cases through jury trials, motions, and hearings. He also worked in the Child Abuse and Domestic Violence Bureau where he prosecuted family offenses on the misdemeanor and felony level. Mr. Gross also handled cases in the Narcotics, White Collar Crime and Major Offense Bureaus.
Based on his experience at the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Gross is an expert in trial technique and the rules of evidence. His aggressive courtroom style has led to many favorable outcomes.
Following his career as a prosecutor, Mr. Gross worked for the largest matrimonial law firm on Long Island where he handled divorces, custody matters and orders of protection in Family, District, and Supreme Court. Mr. Gross is capable of handling complex matrimonial cases and will litigate any issue, no matter how big or small.
Outside of the courtroom, Mr. Gross is a college professor at a prestigious university where he teaches criminal justice and family law, about which he is extremely passionate.
