During one of the most difficult and scariest time in my life, I walked into George Gilmer’s office. It all changed from there. I started off needing an uncontested divorce, which is what I thought. This led into a huge child custody and support battle. It wasn’t your average case. My ex moved out of... the state, and had the kids for the summer but refused to return them. He kidnapped them from me, while I was taking care of them for the past 3 years when my ex husband abandoned us. I was lost and George helped me get my kids back. He scheduled immediate court dates, since time was have an essence. He didn’t stop working my case, until he got me all the right court orders, and had my kids returned into the state. He later got me sole custody, proving to the judge that the dad was unfit. He completely changed my life with his dedication and hard work. He was consistent, contacted me when necessary, returned all my emails and phone calls. He never missed a court date and boy were there many. His rates were more than reasonable and fair. I would recommend George Gilmer to anyone who is looking for a loyal, professional and aggressive lawyer. Everything he promised would happen did happen. I will forever be grateful for his services. ​

I hired Mr. George Gilmer as my attorney in 2015. He was very attentive and responsive to my needs. His quality of service was done in a timely manner and very professional. I am a person who respects and treasures integrity, in fact It's my motto and I can be often heard saying, "everyone is treated with dignity and respect" I believe that it's not the fall that matters it'...s the come back. If you can expose any wrong you should also go to extreme measures to expose the right. In May of 2016 I wrote a review sharing my experience with Mr. George Gilmer it was not favorable and Today I want to update those who read. A few weeks ago all that I believed the world to be was gone and I had begun feeling as if this world was dark and without notice Mr Gilmer reached out to me and it was this moment that God showed me that's not true People with integrity and respect still exist despite all that's dark in this world. Mr. Gilmer and I had a opportunity to talk and apologies where given from him and myself, things like this is totally unheard of and because of it I will forever be grateful. What integrity, respect and professionalism it takes to ensure by any means necessary your client is left happy and Mr Gilmer has done not just that but beyond. Mr. Gilmer's actions and goodwill surpasses my wildest imagination and shows that Integrity, honesty and kindness does still exist. New developments has resulted in my guardian case and Mr.Gilmer has taken the particulars of the new case development and has been the attorney on the case pro bono. I immediately teared as he offered to do this, no one made him, he certainly did not have to it simply was in his heart to do. This is the kind of person I trust with anything that's important to me. Not only do I respect Mr Gilmer I applaud his courage. I am going to rehire Mr Gilmer on a new development. I am with Mr Gilmer and sincerely endorse him. I recently hired the Gilmer Law Firm to handle a child support case for me. He was very knowledgeable in dealing with this of type situation and had given me a very fair price compared to several other attorneys I spoke with. From our first discussion he made me feel very comfortable and confident ab...out my case and he was quick to respond to all my calls and questions. Mr. Gilmer handled complex civil litigation matters for me, including for a case against the City of New York. It involved the litigation of my Chapter 11 bankruptcy and a number of other ancillary issues related to my case. Mr. Gilmer was excellent in court and was aggressive when he needed to be.... He was also very tactful in general. Mr. Gilmer also represented me in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals and impressively made oral argument in front of now Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.
