First, it should be cautioned that this person never hired me & thus was never a client. Second, this person in bad faith specifically stated in writing he wanted a partial refund of his money in exchange for giving me a more positive review - showing his true colors. Third, he was already divorced - I honestly advised him there was nothing else I needed to do for him. I could’ve just taken his good, hard-earned money, but instead provided him honest advice. Apparently he wanted someone to tell him to waste his money. Finally, he - along with all potential clients - are given an intake form which clearly states the consult is “up to” 50 minutes & that the consult fee is non-refundable. The following is a paste from the form he, in fact, signed-off on: "Furthermore, your payment is for “up to” 50-minutes (or “up to” 20 minutes for case assessments) – if you do not utilize all of the allotted time, you are not entitled to either a partial refund or credit of time towards a subsequent consultation." His signature appears on that form. He got to the end of his session, I asked whether he had anything further to discuss or any further questions, and he stated no. It’s clear this person was just trying to “get one over on me” & when I declined to go along with his mild extortion, he put in this less than stellar review. Others should appraise this review accordingly.
