Robert Stanley Gitmeid

As with all other reviews, it has come to my conclusion Gitmeid Law is only out for themselves. After telling me on multiple occasions they are here to help me they did nothing but made my hardship much worse than if I had settled myself. The proof is that they told me they can no longer help me with... one of my accounts after continuously telling me to put what I could in my account at the time (lost income due to pandemic) and they were in touch with the creditor. After taking my account back over the women in the agency said she hasn't heard from anyone in over 6 months(documented). Long story short, she was able to honor the half off balance offer with the affordable payments that fit my budget. And may I mention no fee to process payment. Just another tactic to take your money!!! Beware at all costs. I will be contacting this company next week and withdrawing from their sneaky scam operation.

With initial sign up everything went smooth. Gentleman who helped was very professional. Being on the phone for 1.30 hours everything was signed, sealed and delivered. The no APR and the low monthly fee for all 3 debts equalling $14,000 = roughly $255/Month caught my eye. The next day I'm reading ...reviews(most recent) and it's not looking too good. So I opted to cancel my services w/ Gitmeid this morning. The Initial rep. was very helpful and transferred me to someone who could help me fulfill my request. It started off very professional, kind and understanding. At the end he asks, "Can I do anything else for you." I reply, "no, but thank you for help." He hangs up the phone. Lol. No outro. Threw a Houdini on me, but I'm not mad. He probably felt I was wasting his time. Closing services guy shared his last portion of me losing money if I separated from Gitmeid. I've done the math myself. If I were to pay my debts on my own that would bring me to paying off mid of 2023. My reasoning for cancelling were based off the math, reviews and what was discussed in our signing period, everything seemed prolonged. So they were great in getting me signed, but I opted out because I could pay it off faster than w/ my services w/ Gitmeid. Thank you though for offering me another option.

My dealings with Gitmeid have been terrible. First of all they indicated they could get my creditors debts down to fifty percent of the original figure. That was a joke. They came no where near negotiating my creditors down to fifty percent. Second, I had one large creditor that took three months of ...haggling. The creditor had served me legally. Finally we came to agreement. I had enough money in my account to pay them over two years. Everything was set up to go, then Gitmeid told me I had to add an additional five hundred dollars a month if I wanted to settle with this creditor. The reason, they wanted five hundred a month for negotiating fees. No way could I afford an additional five hundred a month, I was already paying them a hefty amount. So naturally I am now having a lien put against me house. I questioned why they could not take care of the creditors first and take their negotiating fee at the end. They don't do that. So now they are taking my money, applying it to negotiation fees for the next fourteen months, which means I can't pay any of my creditors for that period of time. I am literally stuck. Please never, never us this company. It will only bring you anguish.
