Do not do business with this company

Each and every month they find some way of screwing up my withdrawal. Whether it be taking it out 2-3 days early, they will change the amount you owe them each month, or taking out 2 payments in one month. When you call to get it figured out they will not listen and will interrupt you when you are mi...d sentence. They tell you it will be a certain price a month then change that.

Scammed!!

I was trying to get back on the right track and thought debt consolidation would be the answer, but instead it got me into a bigger hole than I was already in. I joined in Oct 2024 and paid 250 every 2 weeks money frankly I didn't really have but the pros out weighed the cons to me at first I have p...ut in over $5000.00 and found out out of all that money only 690 00 went towards my debt!! Now they're telling me sorry we can't help you and we hope your situation gets better are you freaking kidding me!! That's money I could have put towards my car payment so I don't lose my car which now is inevitable. These people have NO conscience. I filed a complaint with the BBB and intend to contact a lawyer to get my money back. I wish I had looked into them before trusting them there are numerous complaints of how they ripped unsuspecting people off and it is absolutely disgusting.

Just a big rip off

The fees that they hide for their services. I paid 250 a month for service that would take 42 months to pay and then they added 2 more years. Would highly not recommend.

Legalized thieves!!

As of 7/12/2024 we are done with these thieves. They stole $2000 from just me alone and $575 actually went to creditors, not counting what my wife has put in for hers. We got a hold of another attorney and we're going with a Chapter 13. The weight that has been lifted off our shoulders you have no id...ea. They only get 5 stars because the people don't know in the beginning and thinking it's a great idea. It's not, just stay away, they will steal from you and there's nothing you can do about it.****They are a bunch of thieves and now I'm in and screwed. $200 every two weeks and every two that go by, my dedicated account is at $0 balance. Why you may ask....... Fee after fee after fee and nothing is getting done! They did call me one day and told me they had great news, they settled one for $685 and that's at 22% of the original balance. I was extremely happy. Then there was a "but" and here it comes. They wanted $685 more on top of the $400 a month I give them. Un"f'n"believable. You seriously need to avoid the law firm and National Debt Relief. That is who they are in bed with. What a scam and I fell right into it. Shame on me. 54 months of this!!! I should have just filed bankruptcy. Same amount of time but at least I would have an extra $400 month. And this is not counting my wife is in this program to. So between the both of us we're at $800 a month. Now as of today, I'm looking at calling the bank that has my truck loan and tell them, "come pick up the truck, I can't afford it anymore." These two companies, National Debt Relief and Gitmeid & Associates have completely ruin my life. Just 8 months in and I can't even finance bubblegum. This is what it looks like after just 8 grueling months. $199 gets deposited and the same day they rip the $199 for their fees which still leaves me at $0 balance. Keep in mind that $199 is just a portion of the $800 I have to pay in some of the fees before a $15 payment actually goes to the creditor. Nothing to work with, no buffer just in case. Final warning, "STAY AWAY!!!

Only Works If You Have Plenty Of Extra $$$$$

I am very grateful to have my creditors paid off but the process of getting to this point has been nothing short of miraculous. While Robert Gitmeid was able to negotiate with my creditors in reducing my debt, I still could never have paid this off in any kind of timely manner had I not been blessed... by an extremely generous family member. I don't see how this program could possibly work for anyone without a lot of extra money to spend or help from someone else and obviously if you are looking at debt consolidation, your finances are probably already stretched thin. If you are considering this, please allow me to share my story. In 2012 I was in great financial shape with a full-time job, part-time job and excellent credit score. My credit cards were paid off monthly and I had only a few more car payments to make. My house payment was my biggest expense and it was reasonable. Everything changed that year. Within a few months my income was reduced to a part-time salary and small pension and my car totaled by an uninsured maniac driver who was trying to speed around rush hour traffic. I had to foot the bill for another car and medical bills all on a reduced salary. To add insult to injury, I still had to pay the IRS a substantial amount of income taxes each year despite my reduced income. Also, I live in a city where property taxes are the highest in the state. All of these things forced me to become dependent upon my credit cards and the more you charge the higher the interest rates get and don't even think of being a day late or they add an unbelievable charge. I soon maxed out 3 cards and had nothing to show for it. I managed to pay off the car I had to buy in a timely manner and when I did I tried to focus more on paying down my cards, but by this time the debt was out of control. In 2017 I enrolled with Robert Gitmeid. I was very honest and upfront with them about how much I owed and how much I could afford to pay each month. The person that enrolled me seemed very helpful and understanding, unfortunately that was the only time I spoke with him. As instructed, I stopped paying the credit card companies and began paying R.G. a monthly amount suggested by them that was significantly less than what I had been paying my creditors. Needless to say, my phone rang constantly when I stopped paying the card companies, my relatives received calls about me and I was threatened with a lawsuit. It was not until the first lawsuit that R.G. made any attempt at negotiating with my creditors and even then it was only with the suing creditor and I had to increase my monthly payments to cover that. It was a painstakingly slow and embarrassing process waiting for each of my creditors to sue me and for R.G. to negotiate a settlement with them and call me back each time asking for more money. My monthly payment soon doubled and they still asked for more and still had not settled with all of my creditors. Once I made my R.G. payment, house payment, utilities and taxes, I literally did not have enough money left for groceries. In 2019 I was very blessed to have a generous relative who paid off my house. At this time, I called R.G. and told them that I would increase my monthly payment to them the amount of my house payment if they would finish negotiating with my creditors. It was not until then that any real progress was made and yes when you get to the end they do keep a substantial amount for themselves. So if you are thinking about doing this, look at it this way....It took the full amount of my former car payment, house payment and what I had been paying to three credit cards to finally make this work! Sure R.G. negotiated lower pay off amounts from my creditors, but if I hadn't been blessed by the generosity of a family member, I would never have paid this off in three years or thirty for that matter.
