I approached Ruchi for a complicated case. At the time of filing to remove conditions on my green card ( based on marriage ), my marriage had irrecoverably broken down. You don’t think much about this when filing because after all, it was no a fide. I also initially filed without a lawyer and as fate... would have it — USCIS stated that there were gaps in the marriage. I was referred to Ruchi and upon going through the case, I wished that I’d contacted her when I first filed the petition. 2 years after filing the petition, the ROC request was rejected. I also never got the rejection until I made a physical appearance at the USCIS offices. This is the point that after interviewing several attorneys, I engaged Ruchi. There’s an ease with which she works, confident in her knowledge but also forthright about what can happen. Ruchi worked with me to re-file my case and then waited for my divorce to finalize and filed again based on a waiver. Note: these are long stretches of time ( 3-4 years after the initial ROC filing ) When the whole package was submitted in its entirety, Ruchi encouraged me to be patient and updated me promptly of any changes or sometimes, what she was seeing happening ( and in 2020, what was not happening ). It was in 2021 that I finally got another interview and it marked 3 years since I engaged Ruchi. Even with the expanse of time gone, she was meticulous in preparing me for the interview and when the interview came, I realized that all her paperwork - from the affidavit to the evidence - arranged so carefully made sense and presented a favorable case to the adjudicator. I could go on and on but this is a brief testament on how good Ruchi is. I now have my green card and I don’t think I could have managed this process and the mental load it comes with without her professional help, grace and understanding. I first contacted Ruchi when I needed assistance with adjusting status based on my mother's petition for me.
