About J Bruce
Biography
A seasoned expert in immigration law, for more than 40 years J. Bruce Weinman has provided trusted immigration counsel. He is dedicated to helping clients pursue their dreams in the United States, however that picture looks to each client. He is an accomplished and talented legal advocate for clients and pursues the best possible outcome for each client.
Bruce received his J.D. from New York Law School in 1972, graduating summa cum laude and holding the honor of being the first evening student to edit the New York Law School Law Review. He is the recipient of the Juris Secundum Award and the American Jurisprudence Award and has appeared on Good Morning America to discuss immigration law.
Bruce served as General Counsel to the New York State Mortgage Loan Administration and Enforcement Corporation and Special Counsel to the New York Health and Hospital’s corporation. He retired from the public sector and started his private legal practice in 1982. His first immigration case was for his wife! And, he has focused exclusively on immigration law for the past 40 years.

Status adjustment
I unfortunately would not recommend Mr. Weinman. I found he and his staff unprofessional and unresponsive.
