            Should I hire an attorney to represent me on my DWI charges? That is a critical question indeed. If the answer is yes, then you may be asking yourself “How do I decide which attorney to hire?” If you have started to “shop around” you very likely have found that some attorneys that handle just DWI cases can be expensive, while attorneys that charge the lowest fees may not have quite the experience that you are looking for.             It has been said that when you hire an attorney you also hire that attorney’s experience. So, here’s my experience. I went to Law School full-time at the University of Miami and graduated with honors cum-laude. I am proud to say, that I passed the New Jersey bar exam on my very first attempt. I worked as a Municipal Prosecutor in some 23 different Municipal Courts in Ocean and Monmouth Counties for over 3 years.  As a Prosecutor I received specialized training in DWI law from the State of New Jersey – Attorney Generals Office and The New Jersey State Police. I received extensive training in Alcohol related DWI cases and in Drug or Narcotic DWI cases. In my capacity as a prosecutor I estimate that I prosecuted over 60,000 Municipal Court cases and over 4,000 DWI cases.

            When I was a Municipal Prosecutor I was virtually in Court, all-day every-day for over three years. I learned the inner workings of the Municipal Court system. Naturally, I came into contact with some of the State’s top DWI attorneys. I had to handle their complicated legal arguments and even tried DWI cases against them. I gained a vast amount of legal experience in DWI matters. I know first-hand how to spot the legal-loophole in your case, which legal arguments work, how to present those legal arguments to achieve a favorable outcome and how to get your DWI charges dismissed.

            On October 17, 2016, I resigned my position as a Municipal Prosecutor and opened The Law Office of Robert Zavistoski in my hometown of Edison, New Jersey. My practice was instantly successful and I opened a second office on February 15, 2018 in Cranford, New Jersey.   I now have two law offices to serve my clients better and I take cases anywhere in New Jersey. I have defended clients in ALL 21 counties in New Jersey and some 217 different courts so, if you like what I have to offer, I can represent you too.

            Additionally, I take great pride in limiting my law practice to Municipal Court matters. Simply put, Municipal Court is all I do. Furthermore, I am a solo practitioner and the only attorney in my office. That means I will give your case the personal attention it deserves. There will be no fill-in attorneys with little experience. I will personally develop your legal strategy and see it through from start to finish.
