I have been a Lawyer for over 27 years. But, as a second generation Lawyer I feel as though I have been interested and involved in the Law for my entire life. Fighting for justice for my clients is my passion. I have dedicated my practice to providing honest advice and determined representation to my clients that have entrusted me with their case.

Throughout my career, I have successfully represented clients in every county in the State of New Jersey, before New Jersey Federal District Courts, State Administrative Agencies, State Commissions, Zoning and Planning Boards, Municipal Governments and hundreds of Municipal Courts throughout the State. My experience includes handling complex multi-million-dollar injury cases, successful jury trials in varied matters (including consumer fraud, estate disputes, employment litigation and personal injury) appellate cases and complicated business litigation matters. I have served as Municipal Prosecutor for several Municipalities in Middlesex and Monmouth Counties.

My philosophy is to be available whenever my clients need help and to provide legal advice and services that make me proud of my work, every time.

Outstanding Attorney who truly looks out for YOU

I was referred to Jason Shamy by a friend and I retained him for a bodily injury case. From the time I met Jason, I knew I retained the right attorney. Through discovery, he did not leave a stone unturned. He called me countless times to question me about discovery that he had received (so that he would not be surprised at the time of a trial). Mr. Shamy watched expenses but at the same time, he prepared the case as if it were going to trial. I am 100% confident that the settlement outcome that we received in the case was because of his preparedness and readiness to try the case (if the matter could not be resolved). From a customer service aspect, you will never get this kind of attention from a larger firm. He kept me updated on all the developments in the case from the start. From a technical aspect, Jason is an intelligent attorney who knows the best way to get the job done. In addition, he worked with his adversaries to settle my case very quickly opposed to letting it drag out to the court steps. Though I became friends with Jason during the process, I am not a family member nor am I a long- time friend of his. Honest and very professional presentation to Zoning Board

I highly recommend Mr. Jason Shamy. He represented me very well in a Zoning Board objection to a neighbor expanding a non-conforming use ( a two family house in a single family zoned neighborhood). It was a difficult and technical challenge, but Mr. Shamy showed a complete knowledge of the law as it applied and won the case for me. I like the fact he showed a personal interest in explaining all of my options and took the time to answer all my questions. Honest, professional and approachable.

Trustworthy and Dedicated

Jason Shamy is a very hard working and trustworthy lawyer. He constantly kept me informed of what was going on in my case and went out of his way to help me in any way he could. Would recommend to anyone....

Jason Shamy has represented me in several different matters over the past 10 years including simple Real Estate transactions, Divorce proceedings, business contracts, and in a lawsuit I was involved in vs. Wachovia Bank that stemmed from an improper lien filing, which we won. He's the best!

I have no doubt that should I ever need to hire an attorney, I will contact Mr. Shamy. I first retained Mr. Shamy for a traffic ticket. He handled it quickly, professionally and achieved the best possible outcome. I later contacted him for an insurance litigation and soon realized that no matter what type of case, whether it was a traffic ticket or a complex litigation, Mr. Shamy’s professional demeanor was the same: he was knowledgeable, attentive, honest, and pursued the best possible outcome.
