Biography
I am admitted to practice in NJ & NY I am a pusblished author and lecturer, and I have taugh paralegals and undergraduate accounting majors contract/business law, wills, trusts and estate administration, and income taxation of corporations, partnerships, trusts and estates.
I have been appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to be Chair of the District VC Attorney Ethics Committee, and I have been elected by my peers to serve as Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association's Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section.
I help owners of closelly held businesses with regard to legal and business succession/estate planning matters, and I help individual clients with estate planning and administration matters. When necessary, I also litigate business disputes and estate disputes.
My clients find me to be compassionate, understanding, courteous and a strong advocate. For 40 years I have been rated by my peers in Martindale-Hubble as an AV Preeminent Attorney (the highest rating one can recieve).
I have been named by N.J. Monthly Magazine as a Top Attorney in New Jersey for Trust & Estate matters, and I have also been named a Super Lawyer in New Jersey for Trust & Estate matters. These designations are obtained by peer reviews.

Doesn't read well
I specifically said that my father did not have a will, but he answered hypothetically about the various possibilities of what my father's will could have stated. Clearly, I needed to know the intestate law on this question since I clearly said my father did not have a will...

Mr. Bearg provided the best answer to my question
I asked a question about inheritance tax. Out of the several answers I received so far, Mr. Bearg gave the best answer--precise, and to the point. I don't know Mr. Bearg, but I can see that he is an expert in Elder and Estate Law. Thanks so very much, Mr. Bearg, for being very helpful.
