I submitted my trademark application and received a "Section 2(d) Refusal – Likelihood of Confusion" office action. Shortly after I was flooded with automated emails from law firms offering to assist me with my trademark woes. I contacted many of them and most said that I had “little to no chance o...f winning an appeal”. Some wanted $200+ just to speak with me and ‘assess my situation’. Things weren't looking good.
