A real life-saver!
A few months back, I ran into a problem with the university I was attending at the time. To make a long story short, I made an honest mistake with one of my courses, and because of it, I was not allowed to graduate. After a few weeks of back and forth between myself and my university, it became abundantly clear that I was not getting anywhere with them. I reached out to multiple attorneys, most of whom I called but never responded. The attorneys that did respond wanted thousands of dollars upfront before they would even talk to me. Frustrated and out of options, I contacted the HCBA, who then referred me to Ms. McKeon.I was quite nervous before I finally summoned the courage to call Ms. McKeon, as speaking to an attorney is often an unpleasant experience. However, this was not the case with Ms. McKeon. Not only was she very patient and understanding during our first conversation, but every conversation thereafter. Whenever I had a question, I would contact Ms. McKeon, and though her schedule was rather busy, she always took the time to respond to me either by phone or email. With Ms. McKeon's help, I was able to both avoid litigation with my university and finally be allowed to graduate. Had it not been for Ms. McKeon's consul, it is very unlikely that I would have achieved the same outcome on my own, and for that, I am eternally grateful.

Maria navigated through my complex divorce trial. She is a go getter - very dedicated, knowledgeable and professional. She went above and beyond to win my case. Maria is NOT a typical attorney for whom you’re just a number. She is genuine and shows empathy. Not only I felt like I had a family member by my side but she also made sure justice was served and that is priceless.

Totally wonderful!
I contacted Maria on behalf of my son who owns a small business in CT. He was too busy to call, so I made the initial contact. I found her to be warm, professional, knowledgeable, and with a good sense of humor. My parting words to her were, "talk care of my son". While my son is 29, and not a baby, he is still MY BABY, and I could tell she understood perfectly. My son and Maria talked later, and her advice helped him to avoid a legal business disaster. We are both very grateful to her, and give her the highest recommendation. Thank you Maria!

Consultation regarding employment
I had recently accepted a job offer that I had serious second thoughts about. I expressed my wish to rescind my acceptance to the company and they threatened to sue. I was in a serious state of panic when I consulted about this with Maria. She took the time to review my case in detail, despite it being very late in the day and gave me great advice on my rights. She also helped me frame my message to the company. All in all, there was a peaceful separation between me and the company. I am especially grateful that she had taken my case immediately instead of asking me to wait until the next day, despite it being way past business hours. It really helped put my mind at ease and ensured quick resolution to my issue. I definitely recommend Maria to anyone who has such issues. It was great working with her.

Maria is a great attorney. She has helped me come to an agreement in my custody case. She is a very strong and experienced attorney. She fought for me and got me more time with my child. The Best
To say that Attorney McKeon is the best doesn't go far enough. I was Divorced in July 2015 but still had pension issues to deal with and the selling of Marital property. When it came time to sign off on my Pension my previous Attorney wanted me to sign an agreement that would have given my Ex wife an additional $1,400 per month she was not entitled to. I refused to sign and fired my Attorney. Attorney McKeon was recommended to me and called me immediately. She took the time to go over my file and let me know that I was right not to sign. She always made me feel that she was there for me. She called no matter what time of day and let me know how I stood, good or bad. She even called me while on Vacation in Barbados.( Who does that?)Attorney McKeon took my case to court and WON !! She knows the law and knows how to argue her points. I always felt confident with her and her abilities. I know Attorneys get a bad rap sometimes and sometimes deserved but Attorney McKeon is a cut above all the rest. She continues to work with me and at least now I know when I go into court she is a true advocate. Divorce can be emotional and ugly and you need someone who can deflect those feelings. Attorney McKeon by far is Simply the Best.

Amazing Divorce Attorney
Hired Attorney McKeon for my divorce issue and I must say she was by far the best lawyer I have ever dealt with in my life. Upon meeting Attorney McKeon I was getting my chain pulled from previous Attorneys who took one look at me and assumed I was at fault and I should bend over backwards for whatever my spouse demands were. Attorney McKeon took the time to carefully look over my case and told me what our options were and how to go about in getting the results I wanted. Long story short Attorney McKeon was able to reach all my demands in my divorce case and some. She is fair, trustworthy, and kind. I recommend Attorney McKeon for any legal issues that may come up.
