Best Possible Outcome

Driving home from a rehearsal dinner, I was pulled over for speeding. I answered honestly when the officer asked me if I had had anything to drink. The officer asked me to step out of the car for a field sobriety test. I was tired from an abnormally exhausting week, but did not feel impaired and s...o was happy to comply. After a field sobriety test, I was arrested for OUI. At the station, I blew a .06, was told I made a poor decision, and was given a court date before being released with no bail to my own recognizance. This was an incredibly scary and traumatic for me. My job heavily relies on my reputation, and I had thought I had blown up my life. After an anxiety filled weekend which included regular waves of grief and shame along with several sleepless nights, I finally called the Maine Criminal Defense Group (MCDG). I’m so glad I did! I first spoke with Laura, who was reassuring and helped put me at ease. The next day I spoke with Attorney Bly, who went over my case. He was exceedingly professional and knowledgeable. Since I had already done a soft intake with Laura, Attorney Bly came prepared with the broad strokes of a game plan. I decided to hire MCDG immediately and have not looked back. My case was then assigned to Attorney Hitchcock, who promptly set up a meeting, answered all my questions (then and throughout), and developed a successful plan. In short, he worked with the DA early in the process to get me the best possible results. The DA has now agreed to file a NO COMPLAINT assuming no further legal trouble between now and arraignment. Throughout the process, Attorney Hitchcock was highly professional and communicative. He was able to connect me with a drug and alcohol counselor to evaluate concerns regarding misuse and to provide help if needed (in my case, there were no recommendations). This proved helpful in working with the DA. Additionally, Attorney Hitchcock notified me promptly of all new developments in my case as they happened. I was given the best shot at the best possible outcome. It was also clear throughout that I had a whole team working for and with me. The professionalism of all involved with MCDG granted much peace of mind in the uncertainty and difficulty of waiting for resolution. I had first considered them because of a review that said that they “under promised and over delivered.” This has certainly been my experience. I highly recommend MCDG as a whole, and Attorney Hitchcock specifically. I have no regrets about my decision to retain them as my representation.

Stop Looking, There’s No One Better

You will not find better than William Bly and the Maine Criminal Defense Group. He has taken care of numerous charges for me since 2015, with almost entirely favorable results, even when things were not looking good at all. Attorney Bly will not promise you good things to get hired or to make you fee...l better, he is always straight forward and realistic, but has always gotten better results for me than he would lead me to expect at the beginning. This is a team that makes time for you. When I went to my first consultation with Attorney Bly back in 2015, I called and he was on his way out of town for the weekend, but he said if I could get to his office, he had a half an hour. I’ll never forget, he showed up in a superman shirt, which never reflected on his professionalism, but only to show how available he makes himself for his clients at all times. I’ve called the office well after dark from jail, and there was not only someone to pick up the phone, but they put me right through to Mr Bly himself. He’s a great attorney, who absolutely knows what he’s doing, but he’s also diligent in making time for his clients, and caring about them too. I absolutely love his team in the office as well, they’re always friendly, and understanding, even when you’re embarrassed or crying. Attorney Bly and the Maine Criminal Defense Group is truly the whole package.

The Very Best

It is too bad that there are only 5 stars to chose from. Throughout the entire process, Attorney Bly and his team were thorough, respectful, and extremely professional throughout the entire duration of my case. I could never put a price on how well they handled my case. They are simply the best at wh...at they do. Always willing to answer your questions from start to finish. I am not from the York area, so finding a good attorney was challenging; however, the previous reviews on this page speak the truth. Wonderful person and wonderful staff. My situation could have shattered my future, and I could never repay Attorney Bly and his staff for making sure that justice was served properly.

Exceptional work

The Maine Criminal defense team is absolutely who you want on your side when you’re at your lowest. I was in a desperate situation and thankfully called this group up. Attorney Bly met with me on a Sunday and we hit the ground running on my case the next day. They communicated clearly, they worked wi...th me and the state to reach a very favorable outcome on my case. I cannot thank Attorney Singer more for his hard work. Do Not Worry - This Team has got your back

After being arrested for a second OUI and other serious/felony charges, I came to Bill and his team for help. He took the time to listen to what I had to say, took notes, and explained to me the seriousness of the charges I was facing and possible outcomes. However, despite how hopeless the situati...on appeared to be, he believed something could be done and, most importantly, he and his team were willing to help. The whole Maine Criminal Defense group was very attentive, meticulous, and organized in their approach. Bill is great at setting the right expectations from the start. He tells the truth and stays connected to reality. It almost reminded me of the Stockdale paradox where you trust that in the end, everything will be ok, but he makes sure that you still understand the reality of your current situation. He spoke clearly, outlined the process, proposed solutions, and was always open to suggestions from me or members of my family. I was impressed with his ability to think on his feet and come up with brilliant plans that somehow yielded results beyond my own expectations (no felony charges). The Maine Criminal Defense team was always available and prompt to answer any questions. They were always cheerful, polite, caring, and involved. They have a sense of purpose, which appears to be to ensure the best possible outcome for their clients. That's exactly what they've delivered in my case. I highly recommend the Maine Criminal Defense team to anyone who has any legal issues and/or has lost hope. You will find that this is one of the best decisions you've ever made.
