Biography

I am an experienced trial lawyer practicing in Northern New Hampshire, primarily serving Coos, Carrol and Grafton County. I have successfully argued more jury trials than any other defense lawyer in Coos County. I have been representing people in criminal cases for over twenty years.

I am recognized by my peers as possessing exceptional knowledge in the field of DWI. I have served on an editorial board for James Publishing, Inc. and written a chapter on breath testing in a book to be published by Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc. (MCLE) focusing on New Hampshire DWI defense. I have been a presenter and chair person of New Hampshire defense lawyer trainings sponsored by the New Hampshire Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Association on Advanced DWI Defense.

I am certified according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to administer the standardized field sobriety tests (horizontal gaze nystagmus, walk and turn, and one leg stand.) I am also certified to operate, maintain and repair the Intoxilyzer 5000. I have been certified to operate the Intoxilyzer 8000, the SD-5 and Intoximeter FST and taken advanced forensic blood classes. I am a member of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. I am better trained than the police officer who arrested you. I have the experience to focus on the proper methods to attack the state's case against you and win.

I am available 24 hours a day for emergency consultations.

Harden Law Offices was established in June of 2003. I opened a second office in the summer of 2005 in Littleton to better serve the North Country. In the fall of 2011, I also acquired a Lebanon office. I am willing to meet with clients before or after normal business hours. I take pride in returning calls personally and in handling all of my cases from start to finish.

I have been focusing on criminal defense with a larger firm from southern New Hampshire and managing their office in Lancaster for over 7 years. Prior to my work with the southern firm, I worked in a North Country general practice firm focusing on criminal defense. It was during my time at the general practice firm that I began taking court appointed cases from local courts in northern New Hampshire.

I have been defending cases in northern New Hampshire for over 20years.

Could Not Have Asked For A Better Experience!

A few years ago, for the first time in my life, I was charged with a DUI. I am from MA and was visiting a friend in NH. I felt very uncertain selecting an attorney from a group of people I had no familiarity with but thankfully found Len online. He was always quick to respond to my questions, and mad...e everything very easy to understand. I felt comfortable talking to him and truly felt like he had my best interest at heart. My DUI was dropped and I have no one else to thank for that other than Attorney Harden. I owe him my life!

Effective, communicative, professional attorney

I retained Len for a DWI charge. He and his office were very helpful, communicative, and professional. He took time to explain the charge and my options to fight or reduce. Ultimately, we were successfully able to reduce my charge and I am glad to say I do not have a criminal conviction on my record.... I would recommend Len for anyone fighting a DWI charge. He's the Best -- Charges Reduced or Dropped

Len is a great attorney. He represented me after I was arrested for DWI. I was scared, and called around to a few different attorneys, and although he was more expensive then the others, you get what you pay for. He listened and stated that he thought he could help me. I was pulled over, charged with... DWI and open container. He worked out a deal with the DA and got my DWI dropped to a reckless driving and my open container was dropped completely. Unfortunately right before my court date, I had been pulled over for driving under suspension, and when court came, he worked out a deal to get that charge dropped also to just operating without a license, which was just a fine, no additional time suspended. Definitely worth it, and he's got the experience and the prestige. Thanks a lot!

Great Laywer helped in a stressful

Mr. Harden was able to help me with my DUI releated to medical marijuana. I had a small crash in the snow slid 30 feet and was dazed. I had consumed my medicine earlier in the day but was unaffected. I blew a 0.00 and the cop wanted to take my blood as the only option. I refused based on my knowledge... of marijuana in the system and the cops lack of knowledge. Mr. Harden was able to explain the laws and get me a favorable outcome. He was very professional and took the stress out of the situation.
