Attorney McLaughlin was able to do for my son what seemed like it never would happen. She was able to press for the issuance of detainers so he can face his open charges in MA. My son is incarcerated in NH and had been requesting to settle his open cases in MA but they would not issue detainers so he could stand trial in MA. He had been requesting this for over a year through the DA’s office and the court with no results. Attorney McLaughlin got it done in just over three months! She kept us informed throughout the entire process and was very persistent in pursuing this matter. I would highly recommend her for anyone needing a criminal attorney.

When I first met Kristen she was appointed to me by the court to handle an OUI charge that I was facing and she was very honest and direct with how things will go with the case. She never made me do or did anything that I didn't want to do or didn't understand. She was handling my case for awhile until I got into some more trouble with driving without a license and she was there for me step by step with it all the legal advice and acknowledged me with what could happen and helped me with my new case. Then I got cited again for driving without a license and knew she was the best choice to represent me because of her ways of handling my previous cases that I am very proud and thankful for what she does for me and the knowledge she have in her field of work and would recommend her to all of my families and friends to hire a good lawyer like her to represent them with any criminal matters they might have. I would definetly hire Kristen McLaughlin as my attorney again for any court matters.

Attorney McLaughlin was everything the lawyer I had envisioned hiring and representing me in the most important case of my life. She is prompt, well organized and expedient. For me, email was the best form of communication and she always replied, even if it was just to say "I received your email and will get back to you at such a time" which she always did. I found her to be an attentive listener, and I felt "heard". There was a lot of information that I felt important to include in my case, but she knew how to sift through my mounds of papers, and "swiftly" I might say ! She knew what to include, what not to include, making the most influence in my case. I went before the Board of Appeals, and she is very knowledgeable about them, what they are looking for and how it all operates. She was very confident in my case and treated me with respect and dignity. I never felt judged for my mistakes of the past, which was a welcome change after years of dealing with the "system". My over all experience working with Attorney McLaughlin was smooth and hassle free. I felt supported, very well represented and I trusted her. Everything she told me she would do for me during our initial meeting, and the possibilities of how things could turn out, were in fact exactly how she said. I never felt misled, or unimportant. I highly recommend anyone going before the Board of Appeals to hire her, and try your best to follow her advice. If she makes a suggestion or recommendation, it is for your good and you'll be happy if you follow through. If you are honest with her about your case and situation, she will prepare your strongest possible case. Good Luck!

I endorse this lawyer. Kristen and I met the first year of law school and have remained friends. I would recommend her to any client needing a hard-working, determined lawyer to aggressively represent you in whatever matter is pending.
