I have used Alicia Champagne and her firm, Champagne & Marchand, several times to complete purchase and sale of properties in MA. My most recent transaction with Alicia was met with a few challenges. I was short-selling my property in MA, since relocating to VA, and needed to close on the property ...before leaving on a military deployment. She understood the time deadlines that were given and made sure that all related parties would adhere to this strict criteria. Alicia was able to work closely with my selling agent, the lender, and the buyer's attorney to ensure the transaction was closed in a timely manner. This was no easy task, but Alicia's professionalism, dedication, and determination kept the ball rolling and allowed the deal to close on time. There were many challenges that presented themselves along the way, but Alicia was able to overcome each one seemingly effortlessly. At no time did I lose confidence in her ability to get the job done. Since I was no longer in the local area, she kept me and my agent informed during every step of the process. My girlfriend and I were going to buy the house together but we broke up before the closing. I had an 18K deposit. Alicia was able to get my deposit back. I then found a house for just my self. Alicia was suppost to do the closing but the bank messed up and there was an issue with the title and my cl...osing did not happen on time. Alicia helped me when she was not the attorney and did the work for the loan officers "recommended" attorney. He did nothing. watch out for the no cost cost deals. you get what you pay for ... as in zero
