The Massachusetts real estate process is completely different than any other state we've lived in. Having a capable Real Estate Attorney is key to making the purchase as easy as possible. Ms. Champagne was recommended to us by our Realtor. She explained the purchasing process to us and ensured we ...understood how it would all progress. We did not have an easy path as our first house fell through. She looked out for our interests. She ensured we were not trapped into a bad purchase and worked to get the contract cancelled and our money back promptly. While our second house purchase progressed quickly, there were issues regarding a Power of Attorney. She patiently helped us work through the necessary forms and documents required for the situation. She and her team were flexible enough to help us move up the closing date so we could finally get into a house. Her competency is something to be relied upon. We will be working with her again when we go to sell this house in a few years.

I had the chance to meet and work with Alicia during my closing process that was approx. 45 days (offer to close). The most interesting thing that caught my attention instantly, both my realtor and the sellers realtor recommended Alicia for managing the closing for my purchase due to their experienc...e using her for their clients. I have used Alicia Champagne and her firm, Champagne & Marchand, several times to complete purchase and sale of properties in MA. My most recent transaction with Alicia was met with a few challenges. I was short-selling my property in MA, since relocating to VA, and needed to close on the property ...before leaving on a military deployment.
