Hired Mike P today after a FREE and lengthy consultation/explanation over the phone regarding an alleged speeding ticket in Mt Tabor, VT (en-route north to Killington from NY). Professional, confident, encouraging and EXPERIENCED. I feel comfortable that I left the matter in excellent, professional hands with Mike P to assist with a great resolution. Fingers crossed and completely confident in Mike Palumbo!
I got a moving violation in Ny, but am from NJ wich include 3 points in my license after talking to M. Palumbo he took my case and did everything he need it to do and to make sure my license stays clean after a couple of months my ticket was dismissed. Thank you.
Responded to my inquiry right away. Clearly explained the process for representation. Everything was done through the mail. Best of all, my 6 point speeding ticket was dismissed.
I received a 4-point speeding ticket after being charged with going over 70 mph in a 55 mph zone in New York State. Immediately, I plead not guilty and began researching traffic ticket-specific attorneys and was very impressed with Mr. Palumbo, his track record and reviews from others who were charged with similar violations.
I hired Mr. Palumbo for his flat fee of $495 with no guarantees expected. Cripes...his firm even goes to court on your behalf to fight your ticket! Or so I thought. Less than a week before my pre-trial date, I received a notice that my ticket issue was resolved and that he had plead guilty on my behalf for a measly 1-point reduction. So my ticket ended up being a violation of running a stop sign with a 3-point penalty. Countless others with the same 4-point charge on this site were left with a 2-point charge or had their points dropped to zero as Mr. Palumbo told me he could do.
Although Mr. Palumbo was very professional and responsive, I was expecting him or one of the other firm's attorneys to fight their hardest and actually go to court for me to get the "best possible outcome," in his own words. Several other attorneys could have plead guilty through mail on my behalf for a lot less money with the same outcome, but I hired him specifically with the expectation of the firm showing up to court and using his cross examination of an officer techniques in the 2007 periodical to which he contributed. Honestly, he did not fight as hard as he could have, in my opinion, for the money. Overall, I would not recommend him.
They kept me informed along the way. They were honest and my result
was about what we expected favorable with no surprises. I would refer them
and use them again if I ever needed to.
I was tail gating and accidentally blew a red light one night on my way home on a busy stop and go queens avenue. The very tall van I was tailgating blew a yellow light and I assumed it was yellow for me too until I got pulled over by the officer sitting at the cross section perpendicular to my light. I hired Mr. Palumbo based upon all the reviews on this site. After reading about all the 6 point violations being dismissed to misdemeanors and such, I was honestly hopeful that my case would fare better after hiring him to defend me but it unfortunately didn't end up that way. Over the phone he stated "Adjourn, adjourn, adjourn. The more you adjourn the better your chances". He adjourned once and then lost the case. Sucks for me. I was sent a letter in the mail but never received it (It may or may not be his fault), I was sent an email which I also didn't receive (It may or may not be his fault) and I never got a courtesy phone call because he has THOUSANDS of cases he is dealing with, so I lost my chance for an appeal. I'm out the $500.00 I paid him, I got 3 points on my license, and I had to pay the ticket as well as penalties for not paying on time. How this guy sleeps at night is beyond me. I would have been better off fighting this ticket on my own but I had a 5 month old and 3 year old at home (at the time) that I needed to lug with me everywhere I went (including the dirty DMV). I figured an ex officer could take care of a ticket like mine with his eyes closed but I rolled the dice on him and ended up with snake eyes. Instead of Mr. Palumbo I should have hired a nanny and fought this ticket myself.
I was very skeptical about using a service to assist in fighting my ticket,.
I also felt I was I unjustly punished for the offense.
Michael Palumbo from the start was professional,
Confident, articulate, and responsive. The few times I called the office I was greeted by a professional staff or Mike himself. I always felt satisfied after a conversation with him. My case was dismissed and I am grateful. I would definitely use his services again and recommend them to others. Thank you Mike and your staff!
I would highly recommend Mr. Palumbo and his professional team. The case of a speeding ticket was handled with high professional standards and was positively resolved with the best possible outcome.
If you're looking for a really great attorney for your traffic tickets, call this firm. They are just amazing. I had 2 traffic violations (4 + 6 points). When I spoke to Mike, he mentioned that he will get 10 points down to at least 4 point violations. It just took me 2 emails and a phone call and these guys got my 10 point tickets down to 0 point violations. This was totally unexpected. I am very happy with the service provided and will definitely recommend this firm to my friends.
I got a 4 point speeding ticket from a Parks Department office on the Taconic Parkway.
I didn't want to take the hit on the points OR insurance, but never had much luck fighting tickets myself.
"Your honor, he's a PARKS Department Cop!!" would have been my only defense!
Palumbo & Associates was able to get it knocked down to parking in front of a fire hydrant...
Who knew the Taconic even HAD fire hydrants!?
