Description: Client was a bookkeeper for a small family-owned business located in Skagit County. When business got bad and the owners began to preform internal audits, money was missing. The client was accused of stealing the money, about $100,000 over a 3 year period, and was charged with eleven counts of forgery and theft. However, after hiring the firm, it became clear that someone else in the family was actually the culprit.
