Kristin answered my initial call promptly, she was caring, professional, and thorough from the very start, Kristin knows the law backwards and forwards and it showed in the courtroom when she got the result in the court room she was hoping for in the very beginning. She took the time to listen to me and get all the facts and did thorough research of the facts and testimony of the opposing side and presented a very comprehensive plan for my defense which she carried out successfully and got a favorable result on my behalf. Beyond her excellence as a lawyer Kristin is a very caring and compassionate person. She never talked down to me. She was professional, but she spoke to me as a friend and went above and beyond on my behalf. I highly recommend Kristin Slone as a defense attorney.

How can I sum up Kristen's service to my case ? Amazing. Extremely professional. Miraculous. Kristen seriously worked wonders for me and my family. She knew exactly what she was doing with my fugitive case, and her timing with the prosecution was spot-on. I was facing a very long possible sentence for a case from my past. Although I've since gotten my life together, with my long list of priors I was looking at quite a few years behind bars. YEARS! On top of that I would have been relocated, had to go through parole again, etc. Thank god I had enlisted the services of Kristen Hanna Slone previous to my arrest. I knew she'd handled hundreds of fugitive cases in the past. Kristen and her investigators helped build a great working defense for me and with her savvy in the prosecutor's office she managed to maneuver my case with perfect timing and ease. With her help I ultimately won my felony case- a multiple years sentence reduced to 5 days served and $500 restitution. UNHEARD OF! I am so thankful, words can't come close to expressing my gratitude. Her costs are reasonable, and she was great at explaining the "legal jargon" so everything made sense. She was patient and realistic, and told me exactly how it was. She was great at working with my business partner and family while I was in custody, and always answered my calls. I can't tell you what a relief that was for me, and it made all the difference in the time between arrest and release. I know she worked extremely hard on my case, and the results were better than I could have dared to hope for. Kristen truly worked a miracle for me, now I can get back to living my life and spending time with my family again. She's loyal, hard working, and it's clear she has an obvious passion for criminal defense. I would hire her again in a heartbeat if I needed to, and I truly can't recommend her enough. If I ever need a lawyer for criminal defense in Washington again, she's the one.

"The hardest person to represent is an innocent one"...Superior Court Judge
I had initially made my rounds on the usual Bellingham layers and gave them the run down of my case, at this point I was in jail with a 100,000 bail set against me, and I was looking at a no way out situation. I had talked to a good layer friend from the jailhouse and as I signed our contract he promised me he would do his best to get me out and back to work. The next day, there in the the downstairs courtroom walked in what I thought was a young, just out of school lawyer who came over and introduced herself to me as an associate of a friend and my new lawyer if I wanted. I will admit I was a bit taken back at first, but absolutely trusting in my good friend, I accepted her representation. What seemed like 10 minutes later, she had my bail dropped to $20,000 -(Unheard of! ) and then she also and willingly walked my wife through the bail bondsman process, and just like she had promised, I was out of jail later that same day. Kristen knew my case inside and out, and would, through her well developed process leave no stone unturned. After her recommendation of a private investigator, She found information that would ultimately turn my case upside down. She then meticulously created several scenarios and "game plans" she would then used to continually proclaim my innocence while keeping and open door and ear to the prosecutor and a healthy smile in the courtroom for the judge and everyone in the courtroom. Through her calculated maneuvering and deep understanding of the prosecutions standpoint and needs, Kristen Hanna Sloan was able to relive me and my family by having both the felonies removed without having to serve anymore time behind bars. -Kristen is a well seasoned vet and is absolutely trusted in the community to understand the (true) details of your arrest. If she is representing you, what she has to say about you has great merit in the courtroom.- Thank you again Kristen, you really helped my family through one of the most trying times in our lives!

Attorney Slone is a friend, but that is not why I am endorsing her. I am endorsing Kristin Slone because she is a great lawyer. I've worked on cases with Kristin and am always impressed with her deportment and ease with handling complicated litigation and simplifying difficult legal ideas and issues so that the prosecutor and Judge can understand her viewpoint on the client's behalf. If you need a great lawyer, then hire attorney Kristin Slone.
