2nd offense DUI reduced to wet reckless. no jail.

Anthony A Arzili

Case Conclusion Date:August 15, 2012

Practice Area:DUI / DWI

Outcome:State v. DM

Description:Client had a previous DUI from 2009 and was arrested for a new DUI in 2012 with a blood alcohol of .15 (nearly 2x) the legal limit. This would normally carry 60-90 day jail sentence. Through analysis and negotiation, we were able to have the DA dismiss the DUI and have my client plead to reckless driving involving alcohol. He served no jail and only had to do a 3 month class as opposed to a 18 month class for 2nd offenders.
