Description: Janitor for Cudahy School District who was a member of AFSCME was terminated after being called into a meeting with School officials. The employee's Weingarten Rights were challenged as employer rushed employee into the meeting that ultimately led to his termination. We won the case as we were able to show the employer did not follow previously-followed practice and a violation of State law regarding right to representation was found by the hearing examiner.
