Jon's reputation in the legal community is stellar and I have a great deal of respect for him. What's more, he's the same person I knew before he ever became a lawyer. I have known Jon for many years. In fact, when we were in law school, Jon was the manager of my apartment building and showed me around Milwaukee when I had freshly moved to town and knew nothing about and no one Milwaukee. Jon is still the kind of person who will help a perfect stranger regardless of whether it will benefit him. I've never have the privilege to work diretly with him or in opposition to him, but I can say that those who have done so find it a good experience, due to Jon's professionalism, civility and ethics. In my opinion, Jon is a asset to the profession and is most deserving of having been named a Wisconsin Rising Star in 2008.
