Jacqueline Chada Nuckels

Jackie’s practice is devoted exclusively to the representation of injured clients. She has represented hundreds of individuals who have been seriously injured in automobile collisions, truck wrecks, premises accidents, and workplace incidents. She has also represented individuals injured by unsafe products and as a result of nursing home abuse or neglect.

Jackie is passionate in her representation and believes that every injured client deserves his or her attorney’s personal attention. For that reason, Jackie is involved in every aspect of her clients’ cases, from intake and investigation through resolution.

Jackie began her career working on behalf of insurance companies, defending against the claims of injured individuals. During these years, Jackie developed an understanding of the ways insurance companies evaluate the claims of the injured. Because her passion was always in representing people who were injured, after three years working on behalf of the insurance companies, Jackie happily joined a reputable law firm that was devoted solely to the representation of injured individuals.

Since that time, Jackie has assisted countless clients in reaching settlements of their claims without having to file lawsuits. Where just settlements could not be reached, Jackie has represented clients through the litigation process. Jackie is aggressive in her representation of clients and, as a result, has achieved many positive results for her clients. She has also tried a number of cases to verdict.

Jackie is a current member of the Wisconsin State Bar and serves as a director of the Litigation Section. She is also a member of the American Association for Justice and Wisconsin Association for Justice, serving on its Board of Directors and as chair of its Women's Caucus.

Jackie has been recognized both nationally and locally for her outstanding work. She is named in U.S. News & World Report's Best Lawyers (2017-2018) and is a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (2018). She has been named a Rising Star by Milwaukee Magazine's Super Lawyers Edition (2010-2018) and "Top 40 Under 40" by The National Trial Lawyers (2016).

Jackie frequently lectures to other lawyers as Chair of the Wisconsin State Bar's Car Crash Symposium (2012-2019) and as a frequent speaker for the Wisconsin Association for Justice, Milwaukee Bar Association, and Wisconsin State Bar Association.

In addition to her practice of law, Jackie is actively involved in the community. She serves as a volunteer attorney with the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinic, which provides free legal advice and referrals to community members. Jackie also serves on the board of a daycare center in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Jackie believes attorneys are in a unique position to provide essential assistance to community members and groups.

Jackie is a life-long resident of the Milwaukee area. She currently resides in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin with her husband and three daughters.
