also known as Morgan E. Smith, Morgan Smith
I am an attorney located in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. I have my B.A. in Classics from the New College of Florida, and my J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School. I have a varied legal background, including stints at the ICTY in the Netherlands with the Office of the Prosecutor and with the State of Tennessee.
I enjoy family and employment law and feel blessed that I have managed to find a career where I feel like I am making a difference by enforcing the rights of employees, parents, and protecting children. My favorite practice area is wage and hour (FLSA) cases because one of the most fundamental rights of an employee is to be paid for the work they have done to enrich the employer.
I love sports and I am a big University of Louisville, Vanderbilt, Titans, and Nashville Predators fan. I have Vandy football season tickets, so look for us in Vandyville!

I endorse Morgan Smith with no hesitation. I've referred several clients to Morgan for divorce and other family law matters, and they have all reported back to me that they are very happy with the results she has achieved, her level of communication, and professionalism. I would not hesitate to refer to her in the future because Morgan is a top notch lawyer, a fellow Vanderbilt graduate, and a person who goes the extra mile for her clients.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
Morgan was on the other side of a divorce case, and at all times she was reasonable, diligent, and acted with the best interest of her client and the parents' child in mind. Doesn't waste opposing counsels' time or her clients' money, a pleasure to work with.
