Audrey Lee Anderson has been practicing Family Law since 1998. Originally from Missouri, Audrey attended Washington University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1994. She then went on to Chicago-Kent College of Law in Illinois and received her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 1998. Audrey passed the Bar Admissions in both Illinois and Tennessee in 2000, Audrey became a member of the Nashville Bar Association. Later in 2008, she became a member with the Williamson County Bar Association as well in 's field of knowledge is with Family Law. She has help many clients with Divorce, Child Support, Child Custody, and Adoption cases. Audrey offers a unique approach to all her cases by, not just being a representation of her client, but by integrating herself into each case as though it was her own. Audrey Lee Anderson handled my child support case, and she spent a lot of time with me researching my case, and she was always available to answer my questions any time I had them. Audrey was concerned about the well-being of my son, first and foremost, and kept his future as the top priority, as well as providing a wealth of personal support. I found Ms. Anderson on avvo and I'm so glad I followed my gut and went with her. What started as what I thought would be an easy divorce ended in war and Audrey was right there in my corner fighting for me. She's a fighter and will go the extra mile for you. She doesn't sugarcoat anything, doesn't play games, won't beat around the bush or tell you what you want to hear, and she won't treat you like you're royalty. What she will do is roll up her sleeves, tell you what "could" happen (worst case scenario), she will cover all the bases making sure you're informed of the legal process you're about to endure, and then she gets down to the nitty gritty. She will do her research and do what it takes to get you not only what you want, but what you deserve, and then some.

Professional and compassionate
Ms Anderson handled my recent divorce, and was thorough, professional, and courteous throughout the process. She answered all my questions and made sure I understood what to expect at all times. I cannot say enough about Audrey Anderson. I had a legal issue concerning child support that needed to be resolved. The circumstances in this case was more involved and extra ordinary than most. I knew from the start it would take an exceptional attorney to resolve this situation. Since I no longer live in TN, I had the task of searching the web for someone whom I thought could represent me. After reading reviews of her former client's I met with MS Anderson to discuss my concerns about the case. Although I will not discuss any details about the case, I will say this. MS Anderson's knowledge of law , her resourcefulness, and investigative skills led to a more than favorable outcome. MS Anderson is a very professional attorney that can offer sound advice. Extremely Brilliant Attorney.
A year ago I was in desperate search of an Attorney. Not just an Attorney but an experienced, brilliant and well versed no nonsense get it done attorney. Highly Recommended!
Audrey Lee Anderson handled my divorce case very well. Although my ex kept throwing in demands that made the process drag out, Ms. Anderson was well versed in dealing with all of the in-and-outs of divorce cases, and knew how to respond to each motion as it came up. She stood up to my husband and his attorney when they tried to bulldoze me into giving in. She is excellent at negotiating outcomes favorably for her clients, and I felt comfortable with her as my legal protector. I really appreciate the professional way she handled my case, and would hire her again.

Ms. Anderson and her staff, were extremely efficient and professional. Ms. Anderson took the time to personally address my questions and concerns, and also gave me immediate support and guidance. HIGHLY Recommended
After the first meeting with Audrey regarding my Divorce case, I was put at ease ... not because it was a simple case, but rather because I thoroughly knew what I was facing and how to prepare for it. I quickly learned that my representation was second to none. Audrey is forthright, astute and makes your interest the highest priority. By no means should anyone ever underestimate this assertive attorney ... her approach and ultimate handling of my case led to a constant escalation of confidence. While there are no guarantees in such delicate matters, any fears that I had dissipated and I was pleased with the outcome. I wasn't told that my case was the most important one that Audrey was handling but it certainly felt like it. She didn't try to impress me, but the impression that was made will benefit me for life. Awesome Family Law Attorney!
Audrey was my second attorney in my divorce/child custody case that lasted 4 years (she had it wrapped up in less than a year after I hired her). She and her team were wonderful from the very beginning. She is very aggressive, knowledgable, trustworthy, and she gives her complete attention to your case. Her team thought of things and found things to use in my case that I never would have thought of and they got me the outcome I was hoping for and more. If you want an attorney who is quick, intelligent, and going to take your case seriously and put all the effort in to get you what you want, she is definitely the attorney you want on your side.

Glad it's over
The overall objective was achieved, however, there was a couple of disappointing moments in the process with Ms. Anderson. I had a case where I took my ex-husband to court for contempt for not doing what he was supposed to with the house we owned. During the hearing, Ms. Anderson made me feel as if she was representing both of us when I retained her. Also, she dropped the ball on making sure my ex-husband repaid me for ALL of my attorney fees as stated in our divorce decree. Nevertheless, the house is no longer an issue so I'm grateful.

Hi Monya! Thank you for taking your valuable time to review my office. Please remember your ex-Husband did not have an attorney at Court and he represented himself at the hearing. I had to speak to him about the case prior to the hearing before we went in front of the Judge to find out what his position was. I am sorry that you felt like I was representing both of you. When I am in Court and the other side is an unrepresented party it can be an awkward situation because I have to talk to the other side and then tell you what his position is. That does not mean I agree with him. In your case he was willing to agree to your terms of settlement, just not the attorney fee amount and we Entered into an Agreed Order. The Judge determined the amount of the attorney fee. Your ex husband did not want to pay any of your fees. Remember, you are never guaranteed to get them. The unfortunate thing is that you incurred additional charges after Court in getting the deed to the real property out of your name because the mortgage company put the wrong name in the deed. There was no fault from my office with respect to preparation of the deed. After multiple drafts of the deed it finally got resolved. I have agreed to reduce your bill because of the extra charges you incurred. All in all, you were very successful in Court. I wish you all the best! Warm Regards Audrey

Poor staff, terrible experience
The worst experience of my life. Her office is very poorly run. She is not compassionate. My 2nd atty & she was afraid of the trial judge. I lost everything to a husband who cheated on me among other sordid things! She did NOT fight for me at trial. She gave up & seemed intimidated by the judge.

Please keep in mind that going through a divorce is an emotional experience and you will not get everything that you want in trial. Please also remember you received a great alimony award. Your Husband offered no alimony and the mediator said you would never get it. I see that as a Victory! I remember when you sent me an e-mail last summer that "thanked" me for fighting for you because your first attorney did not. I hope in time you can reflect back on our working relationship and see me as a positive person that truly cared for your best interests.
