I am a 63-year-old woman who was terminated from a major corporation based on an age- and a work-related injury, 2 weeks before my scheduled surgery. On September 12, 2022, after paying $250 Consultation Fee, Attorney Tom Loper, Loper Law LLC in Mobile, Alabama was hired to renegotiate my sever...ance package and to help file a claim with the EEOC. On September 20, only after paying another $400, Mr. Loper started the response for a new severance package as I was on the phone supplying the figures needed. He had not looked at any of the information left with him on Sept. 12. I have no proof that the letter was actually sent. He won’t return my calls or my emails. On November 1 I went to his office to pick up the files I left and his paralegal would not even let me in the building. I had to wait outside on the sidewalk. After this failure on his part, I cannot afford to hire a new attorney to help me. I am 63 and left with no severance, no insurance and an injury that leaves me in pain and unemployable.

This is not an honest lawyer, and he will make moves without your knowledge or consent. He put forward only the bare minimum effort on my case, and then essentially gave up on said case just because he got tired of it and didn't think he could get a decent monetary payout. He lied to me, and wasted m...y time. Verify each and every single thing this lawyer tries to tell you if you hire or even consult with him.
