I was unfortunate enough to have need for a divorce attorney. I talked to a couple of attorneys before I hired Cheri Hobbs. She was very knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. I recently retained Ms. Hobbs to assist on a limited basis in a very contentious issue, based on a chance meeting, and after reviewing her online Blog and a very productive initial consultation. Ms. Hobbs is a very focused and knowledgeable Atty, and is unflinchingly ethical, which is not only commendable but is a credit to herself, her firm and her profession. I firmly believe this results in additional respect and credibility reflected upon herself ( and her clients ) in her community and in the Courts, a definite tangible asset. She is an excellent communicator, very clear and responsive, and very well organized and "on her game", as she demonstrated jumping in midstream on my complex issue, getting the relief I requested, and then finalizing our contracted representation. She is also a compassionate and understanding person, who will work to bring emotional reason and calm to the table, and minimize or eliminate harmful or hostile litigation, so as to if at all possible, reach an agreement that has the least impact on any children who may have the sad misfortune of being affected by a divorce or "Custody" Issue.
