Abigail charges outrageous fees and did not make my case a priority whatsoever. She let my ex-husband's attorney completely bulldoze us in mediation after almost a year of time, effort and (of course) a TON of money spent on developing an agreement beforehand. I finally agreed to our (completely one-...sided) final judgment because I was so fed up with her lack of representation and I just needed to be put out of my misery (and stop her from bleeding me dry). Every time I asked her a question, I got vague responses basically saying "I did my job, you figure it out". She obviously just wanted to cover her own butt and bleed me dry (not to mention - I'm a single mother without nearly enough income to support her fees - I had to borrow money thinking it would be worth it in the end). She rolled over on everything, wouldn't stand up for me, and charged extraordinary rates for sloppy work. I now have to pay another attorney to undo the mess she got me into. I paid her an absurd amount of money for a GIANT HEADACHE. I found out that she went out of practice immediately after finishing my case, but if she ever starts again - DO NOT HIRE HER!!! She will not represent you, only cares about taking your money, and will not be helpful in the slightest. I would have been better off representing myself. I cannot emphasize enough what a terrible attorney and (lack of) service she provided me. It's infuriating to think about the time (and extraordinary amounts of money) I wasted on her "representation". I was naive to trust her and I would not recommend her to anyone.

She is the very best and MOST ETHICAL FAMILY LAW ATTORNEY I HAVE EVER MET AND WILL EVER MEET ! She came to help me in horrible 11th hour after 3 other attorneys that I hired were colluding against me in favor of my x husband s powerful CPA firm. Yes it was very sad BUT THIS HAPPENS IN THE GOOD OL...E BOY NETWORK ESPECIALLY ( IMHO) the SOUTH ! I pray the very best for you Abigail Johnston .. and that your firm wil remain STRONGER THAN EVER . What I like the most is her attention to detail and that she is always available to answer questions or concerns and is very honest from the beggining.
