he neverasked me what happened and refused to even listen to what happened stated he was friends with the oficer that arrested me and he knew what the truth was. while he did get it changed to reckless driving i was not quility . when i said i would not plead quility when i wasnt quilty he stated "you arent going to make me look bad in court"

Gus Mcdonald made me 3 promises when he originally reviewed my case. To keep me out of Jail, to keep my record clean, and to help me keep my liscense. All 3 of these promises he kept. What started out as a casual night out with my bosses becames a DUI which could lead to horrible consequences. Gus was clear with his intentions and approach. Him and his office always kept me abreast of my case, notified of court dates and always copied me on whatever they sent out or requested. hall county not guilty this week. i refusd and the judge told the jury they could infer i had consumed marijuana. Officer said i failed field tests. Gus had an expert help he was great. i would hire him and his firm for anything.

i got my dui in habersham at the beginning of the month and by the first week of the following month, Gus had my DUI taken down to reckless driving. My court date came, Gus even had my case dismissed! There were several circumstances, but Gus helped save me big time, and I've learned my lesson. Those couple of hours in jail are all im trying to do.

I had a first-time DUI charge brought against me where I was just over the legal limit. Gus set my mind at ease on my first visit with them that we could get the best possible outcome....which was a reduction to Reckless Driving. I was pretty scared and Gus calmed those fears right away. Gus was very knowledgable and got the best possible outcome short of getting the entire case thrown out. While the fee was pretty high, this is really a byproduct of the legal world and Gus did not overcharge compared to other lawyers I inquired with. He was actually a little cheaper than those that I got an actual quote from. While Gus was sometimes not proactive in calling me to keep me updated on the case, he was readily available if I called. Also, his assistant Kathi, was amazingly helpful as well and would respond to emails within a couple of hours every time. She was great as well! While it's clear that DUIs (unless your really drunk, .15 or up) are nothing more than an easy way to generate money for the county they occur in, it's good to know that lawyers like Gus are out there to help you at least keep your license, avoid further jail time, and not have that blemish on your permanent record. Gus did all 3 of those things for me. He also rectified a mix-up to my satisfaction involving one of the classes I had to take that ended up being the incorrect one.
