Great job done

Mr. Granvold did an excellent job. He was always on top of matters and helped me tremendously! He answered all of my questions I had in a very timely manner and continues to do so when something arises even a couple years after my bankruptcy. He is very knowledgable in the bankruptcy field and in dea...ling with student loans. I would recommend him to anyone.

Mr Granvold not only answered my post he gave us several options he gave me back hope when I lost everything !

I received much more than answers to my post on the AVVO site from Mr. Granvold he gave me back hope and options not one but several without judging or condescending remarks he was so respectful and helpful. I now feel I have a chance at maybe coming through another dark time Bankruptcy is difficul...t and after 4 years finding out we are still left with problems was devastating he gave us hope and an orderly direction to find our way back. We received more help than we did during our original Bankruptcy with another attorney this is the Guy to Trust I just wish I would of found him before. Out of all the posts his insights were the ones we needed to set us back on the right track to a better future. Thank you for all your help my Family is so grateful you have no idea how much this meant you saved not one but 4 people .

Absolutely the best advice and help I have gotten. If you are looking, look no further.

I have realized there is a lot to know in bankruptcy, so it's important to get someone who knows the law. Unfortunately the lawyer I have had for the past 1 1/2 years did not know the law very well and I have never even spoken with, she only accepts email; which would be ok it her answers were helpf...ul. But they are not, they were curt, condescending and hard to understand. Mr Richard Granvold explained everything so well, and in simpler terms than law language. Due to his help, I am going forward, and in the right direction, and WITHOUT the lawyer I had to start with. Thank you Mr Granvold.

Highly reccomend!

In march 2011, my husband and I needed an attorney to help us file a simple bankruptcy. We were scared to death, but Mr. Granvold helped us through every step. He mailed us clear information, and promptly replied to phone calls. Every step was exactly as he told us. We are so very grateful for his he...lp, and hope we never need his services again, but if we do, we'll surely call on him.

Do your research .... and do yourself a favor and don't hire Richard Granvold

Richard Granvold needs to slow down and take more time with his clients. He is very rude and does not cover information thoroughly. He misled me with information and ended up costing me MORE money AFTER my bankruptcy because he did not follow through with some things during the bankruptcy process. ... I had to hire another bankruptcy attorney after him just to clean up my mess. Also, during the bankruptcy process, I found out from my mortgage company that they would not take a payment from me directly and that my attorney had to pay their attorney on my behalf. I called Richard to ask him about this and he said he didn't know anything about it. I told him that my mortgage company said that they had sent him something in the mail. He said "do you really think I have time to open all the mail that comes across my desk??" I couldn't believe he would treat me that way! I had to call my mortgage company back and beg them to accept my payment from me personally because my attorney was not cooperating. Luckily my mortgage company accepted my payment and I ended up being ok. But isn't a lawyer supposed to be aware of these kinds of things and take care of their client?? That's what we pay for isn't it??

1 bad review out of 8000 clients..not bad.noone can please all clients..my office door right now as over 15 cards thanking me for services..and a 100% excellent rating from another site and 100% on answering call calls within 1 day. With respect to the above individual she is simply lying.. never would or have I have ever told a client "do you really think I have time to open all the mail that comes across my desk"..that is ludicrous and slanderous.but so be it..Further, all my client are told in writing as well as by myself they have to make all mortgage payments to keep their house..and this person obviously did not do that. Otherwise, why would they have to pay any attorney to do anything? If your mortgage payments are caught up there is nothing the creditor can do-which this complaining party conveniently leaves out what they did not do..which is to follow my advise and not get behind in mortgage payments! All persons have a right to make the morgage payments directly and to claim they cannot except through their attorney is simply under the law untruthful and false claim by this person objecting. AS a result of their failure to pay as advised, they sitll have the right to catch up on all arrears without any attorney fees also so she paid for an attorney when not even needed with respect to post petition arrears as the law of Washington so provides..Having said the above, some persons do not follow advise and then blame others..hence this persons false and misleading claims. "Over the past several years I read hundreds of Mr. Granvold's thoughtful and thorough answers on Avvo to various types of bankruptcy questions. I also very much appreciate his practice style of the hands on personal approach. A bankruptcy petition is a long document exploring so many details of the debtor's finances and it is important for the bankruptcy counsel to have a good understanding of the debtor's case. I believe that this is best gained by actually personally reviewing debtor's documents and preparing the petition schedules myself. Most bankruptcy clients are quite stressed and frankly scared so a personal one on one approach can really make a big difference. I endorse this lawyer."
